Traveling with a college equestrian team for the IHSA Nationals. We absolutely loved this property! It was plenty of space and super clean! Host was very accommodating. I definitely recommend!

We had a great stay! We came with 6 kids and everyone had an amazing time. The house was very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The bunk room was a huge hit with the kids! Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The host was also very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

This home was an amazing place to stay for my friends and I. We were entertained the whole weekend by the games at the house and the host was extremely reachable, he gave us recommendations for trails etc and answered any questions extremely quick. The home was extremely clean and clearly ready to cater to a larger group of guests we had 14 people and never felt cramped once. The location is great, so close to a nature trail and private beach, and was only 25 minutes from Chimney Rock which is rebuilding itself beautifully. I cannot recommend this home enough for large groups or families!

We absolutely loved our stay and only wish we could have stayed much longer! The home was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.One of the things that impressed us most was how many thoughtful extras were provided. Beach towels, blankets, spices, a s’mores kit, firewood for the fire pit — they truly seemed to think of everything. They even had a dog bed and leash available for our dog to use! The kitchen was also incredibly well stocked with cookware, utensils, and even containers for storing leftovers, which made it feel that much more like home.There was so much to do right on the property that we never felt like we had to leave to enjoy ourselves. It was the perfect place to relax, spend time together, and just enjoy being away.The host was also incredibly responsive and helpful the few times I reached out with questions, which we really appreciated.One thing future guests should be aware of is the drive from the gate to the house. It’s a long, steep, winding stone road and takes about 10 minutes to reach the house from the gate. It definitely feels a little adventurous the first time, but once you know what to expect, it’s manageable — and the beautiful, private setting at the end is worth it!We had such a wonderful stay & genuinely wished we could have stayed much longer. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with plenty to enjoy without ever leaving the property!

We had a wonderful time at the mountain cabin. There were plenty of games and activities on site and a wonderful private beach to use. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our large family really enjoyed staying at the cabin. We loved the many games that were available. We also loved that we had kayaks and floats available at the cabin so we could enjoy the private lake area. Everything was nice and clean upon arrival and was such a beautiful atmosphere. We will hopfully be booking again in the future!

Beautiful cabin! Easy drive from Charlotte! And love the private beach entrance that thìs gated community offered! Host responds very quickly and was so easy to communicate with! Love the huge wrap around porch! Everyone enjoyed the nice family time and there Ingles store is amazing!!!
