This villa is great value for money for friends and family to share. It has loads of space with almost all bedrooms have a private terrace with sea or pool views. The villa is great for family occasions with a fantastic Bar / BBQ / Outside Dining area.
A large, good quality 6 bed-roomed villa, with private swimming pool and hot tub available for holiday rental. Ideal for families or groups of friends. There is a bar with sea views and many private terraces if you want total seclusion. There is a Pool Table, Dart Board, Table Football and many other games to enjoy.
The master bedroom has a large terrace with views of the sea, large fitted wardrobes and king size bed. The main bathroom has a shower, bath and two sinks. Bedroom two has a king size orthopedic bed and en-suite bathroom. There is a double room with private terrace with hammock, another double room with en-suite shower leading on to the pool terrace and a room with bunks beds sharing the master bedroom terrace. From the lounge there is an additional bedroom with a king size double bed
The villa is very well equipped including, full cooking facilities, dishwasher, washing machine, television with satellite TV, and DVD player (40 films), CD Player.

Amazing week in Villa Barry

Nothing more to said than it was perfect! David and sue were super available to help us with everything (the house but also questions regarding activities around). The house is amazing and we had a really great time there. Will come back for sure ! Thanks again to the great hosts !!

Perfect vacations

We had a perfect time at the house of Sue and Dave. The communication with them was great from the beginning to the end, hospitality was amazing, they are just great hosts, thanks a lot again for that. The house was in a great location, we had a car and were close to beach and restaurants. The house was exactly like on the pictures, even better, we were positive surprised.

Ten adults and 2 babies. Perfect house for a large group with lots of social areas. The bar area with a large table - Perfect. Especially as a breeze kept us cool! Dave and Sue great hosts too! Would definitely recommend the propery

Villa Barry

If you were going to choose a holiday home whilst staying in Fuerteventura then in my opinion Villa Barry ticks all the boxes. Tarajalejo is a pretty fishing village that has yet to be over developed. There are several friendly bars and restaurants and a well stocked Supermarket that is reasonably priced. Villa Barry is a 15 minute walk from the Seafront with spectacular views from the balconies looking out to Sea. it was decorated to a very high standard and had all the mod cons you would expect. The Pool is a good size with plenty of room around it to Sunbathe or when we wanted some quiet time we could use one of the terraces. I would not hesitate to recommend this Villa and am already planning next years visit.

Thanks for the review Mick. I'm glad you enjoyed your say. Almost all people comment on the size of the villa. Even with 12 people there is loads of room for space to chill out and relax. I hope you tried the the restaurant Mirador de Sotavento just past La Lajita as recommended...the best restaurant on the island, superb food, service and views.

Fantastische Villa mit allem, was man für einen wundervollen Urlaub braucht. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und empfangen einen mit Tapas und Sangria und sind immer ansprechbar bei Problemen und Fragen. In der Nähe befindet sich ein Tierpark, mehrere Strände sind gut erreichbar mit dem Auto und ein großer Supermarkt ist vorhanden.

Ideales Familientreffen

Wir waren mit 10 Erwachsenen und 2 Kleinkindern in der Villa Barry. Ein idealer Ort für entspannte und erholsame Tage! Die Villa bot allen ausreichend Platz, und es war alles für einen komfortablen Urlaub vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit Sue und Dave klappte hervorragend, kleinere Probleme wurden sofort gelöst. Besonders genossen haben wir es, mit einem kühlen Glas Bier oder Wein an der Bar zu sitzen und aufs Meer zu schauen. Vielen Dank nochmal für die Gastfreundschaft!

Incroyable maison avec vue mer

Wir sind sehr freundlich und herzlich von Dave und Sue empfangen worden. Sie sagten, dass sie sich wünschen, dass wir einen perfekten Urlaub haben. Und so war es auch. Sie waren jederzeit erreichbar und gaben uns auch noch ein paar super Restaurant Tipps. Als das Fass Bier leer war genügte ein Anruf und innerhalb von 10 Minuten hatten wir ein neues. Schöner Familieurlaub

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 9 Personen!(3 Geschwister mit Anhang) Das Haus ist groß genug, um sich auch mal aus dem Weg zu gehen! Dave und Sue waren sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Dem Haus fehlt evtl. ein weiteres Bad (WC und Dusche), da es mit so vielen Personen schon mal eng werden kann. Aber da die Gegebenheit des Hauses, dies nicht bedienen kann, ist es auch so groß genug: Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und war bei unserer Ankunft auch ordentlich und sauber. An amazing Villa, with wonderful hosts

We spent 10 days here with family, and the property was everything we hoped it would be. The pool and the bar area are both fabulous and there is ample space for everyone to relax. Sue and David are great hosts, they are full of useful information about restaurants , beaches etc., and they gave us a great welcome on arrival. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A car is essential for getting around, local shops are adequate for everyday needs. Don't miss the dunes or the trip to Betancuria. Would happily return to Villa Barry.

Wir, drei befreundete Pärchen, fanden den Urlaub in Davids und Sues Haus wunderbar. Wir wurden mit gekühlten Getränken empfangen und fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. Das Haus war super sauber und gepflegt. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Sue war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden. Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen! Fantastic week in the house

We, four adults and two kids of ages 6 and 8 had a wonderful stay at the house! The house is very well equipped, and very spacious, with many nice outdoor areas (such as the bar and the pool area😊). The kids loved the pool! David and Sue are the perfect hosts, welcoming us with a drink, arranging so the kids could celebrate halloween and giving us useful advice on where to go on the island. Many thanks for a fantastic week, we will be back!

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir (8 Personen zwischen 1 und 83) verbrachten 18 erholsame Tage in dieser tollen Villa. Sue und David empfingen uns persönlich und waren uns jederzeit behilflich. Das Haus übertraf noch unsere hohen Erwartungen, die wir durch die Bilder im Internet hatten. Für die Kinder gab es viele Spielmöglichkeiten und für die Älteren war jederzeit ein Rückzug an einen ruhigen Platz im Haus möglich. Die Lage der Villa mit dem tollen Blick auf das Meer und die Berge haben wir genossen. Unser Sohn fand in der Umgebung gute Möglichkeiten zum Surfen. Nochmals vielen Dank an Sue und David. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Fabulous Villa with everything you could want and more...

A totally unique villa which exceeded all of our expectations. Everything was clean, well maintained and very well stocked. We were only a family of four so had more than enough space but equally the villa would happily accommodate a full house without feeling over crowded. The reception we received from Sue and Dave was undoubtedly the best of anywhere we have previously stayed and they were able to offer lots of tips for places to visit that we may not have found without the local knowledge. The bar and beach areas were a particular favourite with the family and we will definitely miss our hammock siestas. Would thoroughly recommend.

Erholsame Tage in der Villa Barry

wir hatten einen Familienurlaub mit 9 Leute ( 4 Generationen) in der Villa Barry. Trotz soviel Mann war der Urlaub sehr entspannend. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse sowie Esstisch auf das Meer, einfach herrlich. Unser jüngstes Familienmitglied (2 Jahre) hatte ihren Spass im Pool. Der deutschsprachige Hausmeister empfing uns sehr nett und stand uns auch in den 14 Tagen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir haben es nicht bereut, die Villa gebucht zu haben.

Fabulous villa for a relaxing family holiday

We had a wonderful week at Villa Barry. There was plenty of space for 3 families, including 6 small children. The bar and terrace area was great for eating, drinking and relaxing, and the kids loved the swimming pool, hammocks and pool table. The villa was clean and well maintained throughout and had everything we could want for a lovely relaxing holiday. The owner David couldn't have been more helpful, with advice about flights and car hire and loads of information about the best things to do in the area. He arranged for some groceries for us on our arrival and really helped to make sure everything was as stress free as possible. The villa is in a lovely quiet position with great views of the sea and mountains. The beach at Tarajalejo is black sand, but with a lovely promenade which was great for a morning run. We visited several beautiful sandy beaches nearby, all within 15 minutes drive of the villa and recommended by David. As we had small children we ate in the villa in the evenings, but found the beach bars reasonably priced with nice food for lunch.

Brilliant time

Lovely villa with everything you could want. The views were great - watched the sun rise and set every day. We particularly appreciated the different verandahs and the choice of sunny and shady spots throughout the day. Our favourite place was the bar area where we ate and drank. We spent plenty of time in the pool as well. The village itself was lovely - friendly people, we particularly enjoyed La Barraca restaurant whose food was excellent. A relaxing and peaceful villa and resort - we hope be back again soon.

We enjoyed the Villa Barry . We really spent a great moment at your home. Mooie villa met prachtig uitzicht over dorpje

Mooie ruime villa met veel gezellige hoekjes en zitjes. Het huis heeft alles wat men zich kan wensen. De eilandsfeer is terug te vinden in deze villa. We waren hier met 12 personen (2 gezinnen) Het was wel jammer dat de douches niet altijd optimaal functioneren. Wanneer er beneden de kraan aangaat is er boven geen warm water en een erg klein straaltje. Het zwembad is mooi en schoon maar wel ijzig koud ;) Het contact met de eigenaar was zeer prettig. Hij gaf ons een hele brochure over de woning en omgeving. Gaf ons tips over autohuur etc. Bij aankomst stond de beheerder al klaar en werden we met een heerlijk wijntje begroet! Nadat één van onze kinderen door een glazen schuifpui was gerend was de beheerder erg behulpzaam. Hij nam zelfs een dag vrij om te zorgen dat wij zo spoedig mogelijk een nieuw glas in de pui geleverd kregen. S' avonds kreeg ik de eigenaar aan de telefoon die aangaf dat de gezondheid van mijn zoon belangrijker was dan de schade aan de villa. Dat gaf ons zo'n goed gevoel. We zijn naar de dierentuin geweest met een kamelentocht, daarnaast hebben we een jeepsafari gedaan. Een dag naar Corralejo met de prachtige stranden is zeker een aanrader. Je kunt daar bij de Grill in de winkelstraat heerlijk eten en zeker niet duur. De boodschappen op Fuerteventura zijn ook niet duur. Omdat wij in februari in deze villa waren konden we wel heerlijk ontbijten in de zon maar werd het om 6 uur toch al snel frisjes.

Fantastic villa

A perfect villa for peace, amazing views and situated in the most beautiful and the least commercialised part of the island. The villa has so many terraces you can find the sun (or shade) any time of the day. It has a fantastic outside BBQ/bar/dining area where we spent many evenings enjoying homemade tapas and watching the sun setting over the sea. Dave Barry put together a leaflet of recommended restaurants/beaches/sightseeing spots which we used throughout the week and was not disappointed! The Spar in the village was very friendly and sold good quality fresh meat and vegetables. It was tempting not to eat out at all but then you would miss out on trying some of the lovely Canarian restaurants. Thank you Dave Barry for a wonderful holiday.

Why they chose this property

The size and space of the villa enables you to have some time to yourself if there are even 12 in the house. The sea view and the fact that its not a major tourist resort. The beaches from Costa Calma to Morro Jable and Sue likes the shoe and bag shopping in Gran Tarajal (very cheap and excellent quality) l when she can drag herself out of the sun.

Lying in the hammock in the beach garden listening to my favorite music. The sea views, great nights spent with friends and family around the bar and BBQ
