This was a great homebase for exploring the charming town of Salem, southern Maine and Boston. The apartment was clean, comfortable and as listed. It is in a safe neighborhood and we frequently walked the 15 minutes into the historic downtown/Essex St, even after dark. We would definitely visit again.

We had a very comfortable stay and would love to come again. We enjoy this part of town being so close to Forest River Park and just outside of the craziness of downtown. Very easy 10 min walk to everything. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

My friend and I came to Salem to explore its history and enjoy the Halloween festivities, and this home was a great place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently close to downtown. Finding parking right in front of the house was easy, too. Although we didn’t cook during our visit, the kitchen appliances were spotless, and there were plenty of dishes, cookware, and kitchen essentials. The highlight, though, was the host’s thoughtful communication. She was incredibly responsive and kept us informed when a city water main broke—something entirely beyond her control. She notified us right away and followed up once the repair was complete to make sure everything was okay. That level of care made us feel well looked after. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily book again!

The apartment was super clean and in a great location. As a woman traveling solo, safety is important to me so I appreciated the extra locks! It was nice to have a roomy and comfortable couch and some extra throw blankets for relaxing in the evening. Host was quick to respond to questions. Great stay!

My friend and I loved this apartment! Everything totally rocked! It was clean and comfortable and had everything we could have needed and more. The owner has thought of so many details, and got them right. The hair dryer is strong, and so is the shower. There's plenty of outlets, and the kitchen is spacious. Beds are comfy. I could live here!

Great location for walking to everything (provided you like to walk) and the nicely renovated accommodations were spacious with an eat in kitchen, living room, bathroom and 2 bedrooms! We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, and there are lots of great restaurants and places to eat nearby. Highly recommend!
