Dog Friendly Former Corner Door General Store on Liberty by Lucky Savannah

Located on the second floor of an elegant townhome built in 1890, this four-bedroom, two-bath property was once a corner grocery! Today, it stands ready to be the perfect home base for up to eight Lucky guests looking to enjoy the best Savannah has to offer from the locals’ point of view.

The completely renovated home has a bright and airy feel about it, with oversized windows and soaring ceilings throughout. Follow the staircase from the entry hall up to the spacious living room, featuring original fireplaces, woodwork and restored pine floors, accentuated by modern conveniences such as cable TV and Wifi. A charming, fully stocked eat-in kitchen and living area will accommodate everyone comfortably. The premium bedroom has a king bed, and two additional bedrooms have queen beds and decorative fireplaces. The fourth bedroom has two antique twin beds.

Non-metered Parking
This unit has free, on-street parking right outside the front door. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home, even on the busiest of weekends.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. The home was very nice and convenient to the River Walk with shopping and restaurants. The major problem is street noise which was unbelievably loud. There were sirens, racing type vehicles, street sweepers, large trucks and even train sounds. The large bedroom had a noise canceling machine but there should be one in every room. The noise started around 7-8 and continued until morning. Not sure what could be done about this but heavy curtains might help. The antique furniture was very pretty. If you want to party all night, this is the place for you. If you’re traveling with 3 seniors not so much!!

Great Girls Getaway

This is a beautiful home that we had an amazing stay in. The house was impeccable and the convenience to all of the areas to walk was definitely a plus. One small thing is that it is on the corner of an intersection so you do hear just a little bit of traffic. Would definitely stay again!

The pros and cons

Pros - very nice people for check ins and very beautiful building to stay in. Very well stocked with needed items for a seamless stay. Great location! Very walkable.Cons - only issue we had was sounds of the night - bring something noise cancelling in order to sleep - not much sound barrier so every noise outside is heard inside. It’s an old building I get it just for future reference bring noise cancelling item like a fan or ear pods.
