About this property
Starry Blue House – Private Wooded Retreat with Creek Views
Summary:
Slow down at Starry Blue House, a dog-friendly retreat on two private wooded acres, just 4.7 miles from Wimberley Square. Enjoy coffee on the covered patio, creek views from the wooden swing, and evenings around the fire pit. Two bedrooms, a sleeping loft, and two bathrooms comfortably accommodate six guests. Surrounded by oaks, it’s a peaceful place to relax with your four-legged companions and enjoy easy access to town.
The Space:
Starry Blue House offers 1,382 square feet of thoughtfully decorated living space on two private wooded acres. Surrounded by oak trees and overlooking Lone Man Creek, this recently renovated home feels tucked away while staying just 4.7 miles from Wimberley Square. Two bedrooms, a sleeping loft, and two bathrooms comfortably accommodate up to six guests.
Inside
The primary bedroom features a queen bed, an ensuite bathroom, peaceful wooded views, and light-darkening curtains for restful mornings. The second bedroom has a full bed, while the loft offers a twin bed with a pull-out twin trundle, providing two additional sleeping spaces.
The bright, open living area is a comfortable place to gather, with inviting seating, a Smart TV, and views of the surrounding landscape. Settle in for a movie after exploring Wimberley or enjoy meals and board games together at the dining table.
The updated full kitchen features quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay. A coffee bar stocked with coffee, creamer, sugar, and sweeteners helps you ease into the morning before heading outside to enjoy the quiet.
Outside
Spend slow mornings on the covered patio, share meals in the outdoor dining area, and enjoy the privacy of two wooded acres. A propane BBQ grill makes dinner easy, while the fire pit offers a welcoming place for evening conversation and stargazing.
The wooden swing overlooking Lone Man Creek is a favorite spot to unwind with a book or take in the scenery. Enjoy the wooded setting with your four-legged companions, keeping dogs leashed and supervised outdoors. The property is not fenced.
The property has 164 feet of frontage along Lone Man Creek, with views of the creek and dam waterfall. A fence and large natural drop-off separate the yard from the water, so the creek cannot be accessed from the property. Water levels and waterfall flow vary with weather conditions.
Whether you’re exploring the shops and restaurants downtown or spending the afternoon relaxing beneath the trees, Starry Blue House makes it easy to enjoy both Wimberley and a peaceful retreat of your own.
Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive access to the entire home and two-acre property, including the covered patio, outdoor dining area, fire pit, and creek-view swing.
High-speed Wi-Fi, smart-lock entry, and plenty of private parking make arrival and settling in easy. You’ll feel tucked away among the trees while staying just 4.7 miles from Wimberley Square’s restaurants, shops, galleries, and tasting rooms.
Please note that the creek cannot be accessed from the property.

Super cute house! It had everything we needed for our girl's weekend. And it was only a 10 minute drive to the town center.

Thank you for the review! We’re so glad you enjoyed Wimberley — it really is a special little town with so much to explore. We hope to welcome you back to Starry Blue House again soon!
We had a two day shopping trip to get away and just enjoy ourselves away from the family chaos. Great place to stay and plenty of room to spread out and lounge in the evening.
We LOVE the starry blue house, both inside and outside!!! It was so cute, clean, well designed/decorated and have everything you need. We wish we could’ve stayed a few more days! The check in/out is very smooth. Property manage is very accommodating to allow us check in a few hours earlier and he responds to my messages in a timely manner. We will defiantly stay here if we ever come back to Wimberley.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear how much you loved Starry Blue House—inside and out. It means a lot to know the design, cleanliness, and amenities helped make your stay so enjoyable.

We’d absolutely love to welcome you back the next time you’re in Wimberley!
This was a great property right along the river. Amazing natural lighting throughout the house.
We really made use of the kitchen and it had everything we needed. My only comment is that the BBq grill was not a grill, it was a mini firepit and we could not in good conscience cook our steaks on that! Everything was great, otherwise! Would definitely recommend a stay.
Absolutely darling house & decorated beautifully. So clean - spotless! Back deck is huge & we enjoyed evenings there. Joe (owner) answers questions promptly - I had a question prior to our arrival whether house had coffee pot or Keurig. FYI - coffee pot Book with peace of mind that you will have sweet dreams at this property.
This secluded cabin was perfect for our annual girls trip. The house is spacious and so well appointed. So close to Wimberley and nestled in the heart of hill country. We saw several deer around the property in the short 3 days we were there. Enjoying the mornings on the back porch or the swing with a cup of coffee is a great start to the day. The host was also very quick to respond with any questions. Will absolutely recommend to friends!
We booked this last minute and I’m so happy we did. Everything about this experience was great and just what we needed. The house is in a beautiful location and is both stunning and immaculate in itself. There was ample communication from the property owner as well. You are just outside of town and there is plenty to see and do there. We also brought our two dogs and they enjoyed themselves as well , just roaming the property. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you!
We just LOVED this house! It was so clean and perfectly decorated (seriously. I wish I could ask them to decorate my own home!) that we felt like we were experiencing a real treat. It was conveniently close to town but just far away enough that we had plenty of remote privacy. Everything was just right and so clean that there were no uncomfortable feelings, only relaxation! Any communication was immediately responded to but we didn’t really have a need to because there were no issues at all. Zero complaints. My daughter had a great vacation for her birthday, in large part because of this rental. We all agreed that we would rent again any time we are in the area. Thank you to the hosts!
