Great location as a base for fishing either above or below it on the Tippy. Really nice, quiet, friendly neighborhood. We liked Nelson's Keurig coffee makeso well we bought one when we got home.
We had a great stay. The house was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of amenities and supplies to meet our needs. The host was awesome and decorated for Christmas. As a bonus we enjoyed watching the eagles and cranes that frequented the skies and river.
Nice and quiet. Right on the river. Kitchen was well stocked with small appliances and utensils/tools. Will be looking to book again in summer to enjoy the fire pit and kayaks!
Perfect for our family of 4 with dogs. Nice and peaceful. Had everything we wanted to do, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Fishing from back yard, fire pit, deck, grill, and nice open house. Even has kayaks, which we didn't get to use but wanted too.
The house was the perfect size for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. We had plenty of space for all and enjoyed the open layout btw kitchen and living room. The spacious deck offers great views and easy river access. The yard is quite small and the river was high and moving quickly due to heavy rain. My only issue was the drop-off in the yard to the river which could not be easily seen due to overgrowth at the edge of the property. Just needs some TLC to make it safe for small kids or pets. We chose to walk our dogs out front, so they could get some exercise and sniffs during our stay. They also enjoyed sprawling out on the deck and watching the boats drive by. Overall a great property and I would definitely recommend.
We rented this property for the Labor Day and I tell you it was a blessed weekend , the river , the nature, the fishing, the kayaking we had it all … house its really spacious, a great deck whit a million dollar view over the river , really clean and stocked whith everything ..friendly neighborhood and respectful to no loud music on party its a great escape going away from the crowded city .. ppl in the neighborhood are very polite and helpful we have a dog and he had a great time in the river and chili g on the dock , in the yard or on the deck so yes we will go back its a totally 10 of 10 one of the best we rent so far in IN on the water … Thanks to the owner who was really helpful and fast responder .. for let us enjoy his property !!!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Decent fishing, although water level led to jumping off pear because there were no steps to the sand bar uncovered by late season dryness. Some items could use attention, poor water pressure, some cleanliness and repairs. Door lock was tricky. It would not lock properly and constantly.beeped until manually locked. This would be a great place for a family to stay in the summer, great for swimming and fishing.
We had an excellent time. We enjoyed the dock, kayaking, canoeing, and the lily pad. My son caught several bass and catfish right off the dock and our dogs enjoyed the river as well. The water was shallow enough that our niece who’s a little over one could also walk around and enjoy the water! We will definitely be back!!!
