Loved the house! It’s really clean and fit our family of 5 perfectly. The views are amazing. My daughter sprained her ankle so we had a rental car and drove the 5 minutes in to town and enjoyed all of the restaurants and shopping there. We ate at Fish and Cheeses (at the end of the street) twice and it was really good. My teens loved going to the pool after a long day at the beach. The guys at the gate and the cat welcomed us in and out each day. Would stay here again!!!

Spacious & Stunning

One of the best beach residences we've ever had. The kitchen was incredible, the terraces and view stunning, and more room than our family of 5 could ever require.The Host, Jus, went above and beyond to help us and guide us throughout our stay...to have his concierge service was a highlight!

Incredible spot for a vacation. Amazing views and communication with host and employees was incredible. The double porches facing the ocean are unbelievable. The sunsets were top notch. Getting into town was easy. The entire complex was perfect. I hugely recommend this place.

Great Views and Convenient Location

This is a beautiful property with a very friendly and helpful front gate staff. Located on the edge of Tamarindo and super close to great restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time staying at Crystal Sands. The management company and owners were always so quick to help when needed. The location is perfect and the sunsets were breathtaking! Can't wait to visit again!!

A Beautiful Getaway!

We spent the week looking at the views from this spectacular location!!! We enjoyed all the extras this place had to offer. We walked daily and at this location you can have everything you would desire at your fingertips. The restaurants within walking distance are incredible! We didn’t want to leave, our family truly enjoyed the trip and are looking forward to visiting Costa Rica again.

Beautiful Penthouse, great location

The penthouse suite was everything I expected. Absolutely fabulous view and the accommodations were very comfortable. The kitchen had high end pots/pans/dishes and utensils. The location is within easy walking distance of the town of Tamarindo with lots of restaurants, beaches and shopping. Syd was very responsive to a specific issue and we will be happy to return for another vacation.

Fabulous Penthouse in a Secluded Location

We had the pleasure of staying at this condo for 7 days. The space is absolutely beautiful and expansive. We had two families and a nanny with us and had no problem accommodating everyone. The views are incredible and the property's location is perfect, as it's close enough to Tamarindo but also far enough away from the town as to be removed from the traffic, people, etc. Langosta is a charming community with beautiful beaches and fun surf. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend! Also, the property owner as well as management company were first class throughout the entire process. Very responsive and accommodating. Thank you for a memorable family vacation!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the condo. Beautiful views from the balconies. The condo was very spacious and had plenty of space for our families. Willy and Justin were very helpful and responsive to any questions I had. Willy even arranged shuttles to and from the airport and stocked some groceries that I asked for. I would only say if you’re going to have them get groceries know that groceries are expensive and most likely purchased from a small grocery store rather than one of the larger stores a little farther from the condo. For a large party the condo was a great place to enjoy family time with great views and everyone could sit on the balcony at the same time.

First visit to Costa Rica

True to its reviews, the property is spectacular. Sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and The waves crashing below is music to our ears. We had cleaning at the condo every 3 days which was a real plus for us. The amenities were fantastic and it was nice to have beach chairs available for our use. We were in walking distance to everything we needed. Although the heat of the dry season can be stifling, early mornings and late evenings were perfect. We saw a few monkeys and iguanas - just enough to make us laugh not annoying at all. We did lots of day trips during the week to other beaches and enjoyed swimming and snorkeling while here. The pool is a nice touch the water is refreshingly cool. Thanks Syd and Lynne for sharing your beautiful home with us!

La La LOVED IT!!!

I would look no further for a place to stay and book this condo over and over again! Stayed here with family of all ages to celebrate a 70th birthday and the condo, grounds, view, staff, beach and pool were all amazing. The condo is HUGE, the furniture all comfortable and high end. We wanted for nothing while there and I cannot think of one thing that I would suggest they add to the condo. Loved sitting out on the balconies watching the amazing sunsets or reading a book in the most comfortable chairs. Syd's detailed instructions of directions, places to eat, beaches to visit was great. We referred to it often and were not let down. We loved the town of Tamarindo as well. Felt very safe. My daughter and I walked around town and to and from the condo several times. Lots to do there as far as shopping, restaurants, beaches, surfing etc. We even found a place for us to take a yoga class and the kids took surf lessons. The people we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. Hope to make it back sometime soon! Thanks again, Syd:)

Great and spacious condo in Tamarindo with amazing views

This is a spacious condo in a great location right on the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need. It was also super convenient having a washer/dryer on each floor. We had the pool to ourselves. There’s parking if you have a car. We even liked the outdoor property cat, which is probably the laziest cat we’ve ever seen. We are a family with two adult children, their partners, and this place was perfect. Each room has its own bathroom so everyone had their own space. The walk into Tamarindo can be a bit long, especially if it’s hot so I recommend renting a golf cart and getting a car. The only snafu we had was the last night of our stay, there was a clicking noise coming from the ceiling that impacted our sleep and we couldn’t figure out how to get it to stop. Great stay, though.Would recommend!

A True Gem - Absolutely Stunning Viewa

We stayed as a family of 5. The place is immaculate, very clean, and huge. 10/10. Plenty of space to spread out. The view is absolutely stunning and the sunsets are breath taking. We loved eating meals on the large balcony. The place is fully equipped with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. Easy communication with owner, and Justin, the local property manager, met us for checkin to show us everything and was available for questions and to help set up tours. The building is very secure and the security guards were all very friendly. Nice pool too. We would absolutely stay here again.

I have dreaded to write this review. I may not be of clear mind due to our visit to Tamarindo. This all started months ago when we booked the unit. The host provided tons of information about the unit and the local area. Could not have asked for more on the front end. The host was able to arrange for transportations to and from the airport, for groceries and drinks to be on hand for our arrival and a golf cart. I can not describe just how beautiful this place is and the pictures on line can not give you the sound of the waves and feel of the ocean breeze. If you are not happy with this unit you should probably not visit Tamarindo. We met with Justin on our arrival he showed us everything we needed to know about the unit and left us to enjoy the afternoon.The condo was stocked with everything we needed from laundry detergent to boogie boards to beach towels and chairs to cookware.We were able to arrange for two chef's to prepare meals for us at the unit and dined on the patio with the ocean view. No reservation, waiting or hurry. We did have two issues. First, being a group of six adults we used more ice than the ice maker could produce on a couple of occasions. A text to Justin and we had bags of ice with 15 minutes. Second, having to leave. No one wanted to leave. We all wanted to just stay. Since we could not stay we have already made plans for another visit to Crystal Sands.

Perfect in every way!

The condo was perfect in every way for our family. Plenty of comfortable room for all of us. The view is breathtaking and the locarion is amazing. Walking distance to all the restaurant, shops and bars in Tamarindo. There is always something fun to do. Our hosts were fantastic! So helpful and so nice. Can't wair to xome back!

Family time in CR

We were thrilled to be able to stay in Syd's penthouse unit with my family. There is a LOT of room for everyone and everything was clean, and comfy! Arranging the trip was easy to do, and communication was efficient. All of my family highly recommend the beautiful condo in the luxurious Crystal Sands!

Best Choice!

I researched many properties before deciding and it met all of our needs for a family of 4 and more! It's safe -- security upon entering and departing, it's quiet -- an easy, interesting 10-15 minute walk into town where all the action is, and the penthouse itself is far better than the pictures can communicate. Everything was very clean, well-appointed and comfortable. We were able to do our own laundry when needed and cook our own meals when we decided to eat in. (My husband and son went deep sea fishing one day and came back with 4 large tuna so it was great to be able to prepare the fresh fish.) My boys enjoyed surfing most days while my husband and I loved walking along the beach. The top floor view of the ocean from the hot tub is breathtaking, and the sunset and clouds painted a new picture each evening. I personally appreciated hearing the ocean through the night; I truly felt more relaxed than I have in a long time. All services we used were excellent -- the transportation arrived early for our airport pick up and return. Our 8 day stay was more of a luxurious treat than I ever expected.:)

Great property with fantastic views

Our stay at this fantastic penthouse exceeded all expectations. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk toTamarindo, allowing us easy access to all the shops, restaurants, and beaches while still enjoying the tranquility of the area. The house itself is spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight of our visit was the breathtaking ocean views. Every morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the balcony, taking in the stunning scenery and listening to the sound of the waves. We spent each evening doing the same. The sunsets were spectacular. I highly recommend this rental.
