A wonderful relaxing stay! The home was clean, well laid out, and stocked with necessities to make meals and enjoy family games. The lake was beautiful and our kids(10) loved the paddle boat. The host was friendly, accommodating and easy to get a hold of.

Great little lake to catch a variety of fish right from the dock! Loved the water activities. Listening to the loons everyday was the ideal up north peaceful sound. House has a great view of the lake with many lake type things to use for free. Overall great host great property

Its the little things that make it fabulous. Liquid hand soap in bathroom and kitchen, basket with snacks in kitchen, a small ..in case you forgot basket in bathroom and quality shampoo and soap in shower. Plenty of towels for shower and beach. Wonderful supply of life jackets and use of boats. Well equipped kitchen. Rob quick to answer questions. Well maintain property. 10/10 all the way around!!! This is a true up north at the lake experience!! Cant wait to come back!!!

Why they chose this property

Where do I start... Diamond Lake is a small lake on a chain of 3 lakes, well really 4 lakes but the fourth is about a two hour kayak paddle up the river. Diamond Lake is sandwiched between Hanging Kettle Lake, and Ripple Lake. You can access both of those lakes from Diamond Lake via a short distance through a river channel. The river that flows through Diamond Lake is the Ripple River. You could kayak the river all the way to the town of Aitkin and right into the Mississippi River if you wanted. The Aitkin area is full of different things to go and enjoy. Thousands of people flock to the area in search of whatever their heart desires, and they seem to find it up here. I'm confident you will too.
