Two decks, gas BBQ and gas fire pit. *NEW in 2019 - steel stairs off the bottom deck now offer direct water access!

Wonderful Canadian Retreat on the Lake

We loved our stay here. The neighborhood was quiet, the lake was beautiful and the pictures don’t do the view justice! The nearby town was so charming we were there in the off-season and still loved it. We will be coming back again soon!

Perfectly relaxing

The property was exactly as advertised! The house was stylish and accommodating. The view from inside and on the deck were next level. We enjoyed swimming in the clear, sandy bottom water right from the stairs. Not to far to travel to Niagara Falls or Toronto. The town of Port Dover has just the right amount of restaurants and shopping without too much of the touristy feel.

This cottage is beautiful and the views of Lake Erie are amazing. The deck is completely private and the grounds are nicely landscaped. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and the living area is large and open. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the beds were comfortable. It was very clean and the check-in process was so easy. Marnie was a wonderful host and replied promptly to any communication. We will return. Thanks Marnie for a lovely getaway for my daughter and I.

Stunning views and fantastic patio with plenty of space and furniture for relaxing. Very quiet and easy to find. Everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. Lakefront, but the steps down were a lot for two seniors with bad knees. Although, it didn’t stop us from venturing down. Nice to hear the waves lapping on the shore.

Wonderful Wintery Long Weekend Getaway!

The Modern Cottage was the perfect place to spend a long weekend getaway together! The property was better than anticipated, with expansive windows and glass doors to take in the stunning lake views and beautiful snowfalls. The cottage was clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything needed for a fantastic stay. Marnie was a responsive host, making the process very easy from start to finish. Cottage on the Lake

We loved our stay here! The property itself was beautiful and the views stunning! The kitchen had everything you needed, and it was great we didn't need to bring sheets, pillows or towels. Found a little private beach down the road where we swam every day. Made trips into town for dinner and strolled around. Would explore more next time.We did not want to leave. This cottage in its setting is definitely among the more beautiful spots that we have stayed on our travels since retiring 10 years ago. The cottage itself is functional, comfortable, beautifully maintained and very well equipped. It was a delight to prepare meals in the up-to-date kitchen with a spectacular view, a view which is shared by the dining and living rooms! We loved our stay here and our hosts were very responsive.

This little cottage was just perfect for the two of us. It is clean and has all the basic necessities needed for a comfortable stay. The views of the lake are absolute perfection. Is is easy to find and park and it's in a great location in a super cute little town! My husband had a note to Marnie: We loved your place on Lake Erie. Absolutely beautiful - and a turntable with the Beatles white album?? An incredible touch. Next time I'm bringing a couple of my favorites and leaving them for your collection. - John.
