Start your morning by opening the French doors onto your expansive deck where you can sip your coffee while taking in the spectacular sunrise as it emerges from the emerald waters of the Caribbean. Enjoy breakfast at your outdoor dining table and then meander over for a dip in the swimming pool just steps away. Our concierge would be delighted to book an in-room massage or arrange with our partners to take you on an amazing Belizean adventure. Alternatively, perhaps book a private yoga class. Kayaks are also available so that you may explore the worlds' second largest barrier reef just minutes from our shoreline. A little piece of Paradise

Everything was perfect with the VRBO. Our family of 9 adults had plenty of room. Everything was just as described. They were very helpful with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend to others.

The first night I got there I arrived later then the group and the guy renting our golf cart came up to our villa and asked my to pay for the golf carts. He asked me to Zelle him…he ended up charging me for 1 week when I only asked for 4 days. He did return the money back to me but if I didn’t have noticed it would’ve been a 250 dollar difference. Then while we were staying they asked if someone could come look at the property for a potential buyer. There we some ladies that did not feel comfortable with people coming in when we were asked to not be there. They then called us into their office and bribed us to lie to our friends and they would buy us a drink. I said sure no problem. It seemed very unprofessional and they should respect how some guest are feeling. Then at the end of it all we get a bill for 542 dollars for “damages” they said we have stains on towels and a pillow case. The pictures they said were of all of the same towel that showed to have some pink on it. I never heard of a place charging for towels. Then the pillow case picture looked like it was dirty? They also said we broke the fridge in 3 different spots. We were there for 4 days…there’s absolutely no way we broke the fridge in 3 different spots. I’m very upset about how everything went down. They are now ignoring us and will not talk over the charges with us. They never told me my card was getting charged I just saw a charge for 542 dollars on my card. I’m super upset with the whole experience.

First, the golf cart charges were handled by a third-party vendor, not our property. You requested a four-day rental, and any initial billing errors were promptly corrected by the vendor. The refund was issued as soon as the discrepancy was noticed, ensuring no overcharge. Regarding the property showing, all guests were notified in advance, and participation was entirely voluntary. At no point was anyone forced to participate or asked to provide false information. Any offers extended were intended as a courtesy, and guest privacy and comfort are always a top priority. Concerning the charges for damage, these were carefully documented with photographs and verified by our staff and emailed to you along with the supporting documentation. The charges for towels, pillowcases, and the refrigerator reflect damage beyond normal wear and use, in accordance with our rental agreement. These charges were applied transparently and fairly. We take guest concerns seriously and are always willing to discuss issues professionally. However, public statements that misrepresent our team or property do not reflect the facts and our standard practices. Belize Beach House

We had a great time at this beach property. The staff does a great job of keeping the grounds and house clean, safe and secure. We had a lot of fun fishing with a local charter company, Beach BBQ, snorkeling and swimming with sharks & rays, swimming at sunset beach, eating at new and different restaurants and exploring the area. It was a great experience and highly recommend.

Fabulous Large House

8 of us, high school classmates, rented this 5 bedroom house and we had a better than expected experience. The house was great, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool was clean and refreshing. We all enjoyed the pool. The warm clear Caribbean Sea is right there but there is really no beach due to the sea wall. It was a fabulous house and location. Staff was very attentive. Loved the whole package.

They were always super responsive with any questions we had or helping us to arrange travel. We rented a golf cart through them and they took care of all of the logistics and had it waiting for us upon our arrival. We took a boat back to the airport the morning we left also arranged through them, and that was super convenient. We also appreciated they furnished 5-gallon bottles of water and replaced them when needed. The pool was beautiful and many of us spent time around and in it.

We loved the quiet locale and being on the north side. From the views to the pool to the white sand, the grounds are impeccable. The onsite staff is top notch and helped us handle many different excursions and situations. The villas have large beautiful decks and are furnished nicely. Just a wonderful vacation, if you want to really get away from it all.

Absolutely beautiful stay and great service.

When you talk about a hidden gem, this is a definition of one. The staff worked efficiently and very fast. The rooms are spotless. The villa has nice art designs and a Guatemalan look and feel. That really gave it a beautiful look and we had a wonderful time. We will definitely return. There are numerous fun restaurants and resorts nearby to check out, all very fun. Next time you're thinking about choosing a resort or rental property in the Caribbean, definitely consider La Perla Del Caribe. I recommend that you speak to the staff. They are extremely helpful and are there to make your stay more enjoyable. -Vincent

But I had a group of 9 and really wanted all of us to be together. Everything we needed was provided. Communication was the best I ever had. Everyone felt like family. Would definitely come back

First off, Michaela and her staff made our trip so enjoyable. She was available for any question, any request and helped us navigate an issue we had with our cart rental... on her day off!! The property is beautiful. We stayed in Opal (2 families of 4) and it was the perfect set up. We loved how quiet the area was. We drove into San Pedro several times and went to Secret Beach twice. We would recommend Blue Bayou at Secret Beach, The Truck Stop and The Garage. Having Sundecks so close was great too. We ordered salads from them several times during the week. We kayaked out to the reef and snorkled several times. If that's something you'd want to do, bring your snorkel gear! We will definitely be back to La Perla! Many thanks to Michaela! 😉👍❤

Family of 7 adventure in Belize

The property is beautiful, it’s rare for us to find a place that our family of 7 can all have their own beds. We had so much space to spread out and hang out. There is plenty of supplies and they provide bottle water and ice. The property manager was helpful and set up a private chef dinner for us one night. The property is a 30 minute golf cart ride on a very bumpy road outside of town. If you want to cook your own meals on vacation it’s a great location but we had to drive back and forth every day. They do their best to keep the beach clean but we just used the pool. Secret beach is the nicest beach and it’s 20 minute drive. The WiFi didn’t work well which was a challenge when my husband had to do some work. It’s the perfect location if you want to escape the hustle.

Perfect island getaway for a large family

We spent two weeks relaxing in Villa Opal, La Perla del Caribe, Belize. At + 28C it is a long way from the -28C we left behind! La Perla is its own little neighbourhood. Twelve private homes along the beach roughly 5 miles from San Pedro. A quick 20 minute ride on the Coastal Express and you are in the heart of town. Four restaurants within walking distance. A cool little grocery store about 15 min walk down the beach. Kayaks at our disposal; a beautiful swimming pool in which to escape the heat; fishing off the dock; a poolside barbecue to fry up our catch; fully equipped kitchen etc. Our family of 5 had a wonderful, relaxing time. We used the villas bicycles and rode to Ak'Bol for a little yoga on the dock. Another day we had a yoga teacher come to our spacious deck for a private yoga class followed by massages. We all enjoyed a snorkelling trip to Shark Ray Alley and then lunch on a neighbouring island called Caye Caulker. The trip to Altun Ha and Maruba Jungle Spa is definitely worth the adventure. Belize is everything we read about on Trip Advisor and we understand now why Ambergris Caye was voted as the number 1 island in 2013.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family from various corners of the US met for a beautiful 6 day getaway based out of Villa Opal. Everyone at La Perla Del Caribe was spectacular. The snorkeling just off the property which was accessible by complimentary kayak was exquisite. Maria Galvez, a local chef, prepared our amazing lobster Thanksgiving feast. Norma at Diamond Adventures arranged a full day catamaran snorkeling trip for all of us. The golf carts were there and ready for us. The location with the reef is the best reason to choose this accommodation and the wonderful hospitality directed by the lovely Alexa is a great reason to return! (Remember to reserve a grill in advance if you need it for a particular night! It all worked out, another tenant was finished by the time we needed it) Also, the 5.5 miles to town seems a lot longer due to the conditions of the road but that is just something to know. Travel can be arranged by boat to different restaurants or town. One night we even had pizza delivered by boat!
