City of St. Helena Short-Term Rental Permit # PL19 - 013V
The downstairs has a large front room, a dining room and a separate parlor that is great for gathering around the fireplace with family and friends. There is a large wrap around porch that has two twin beds, which also have a view of the vineyards. The porch is also a wonderful place to dine on warm summer evenings. The downstairs living area does not have AC. This area stays fairly cool on warm days and nights. We do have portable fans, if needed.

Great location overlooking the original Beringer vineyard and a 15 min walk into town. The house has lots of history and is well kept. Communication with owner was excellent. Great stay and no surprises. Would stay again.
we had a great day at this property. It fit our family perfectly and the host does a great job giving you recommendations for things in the area and making sure the house is fully stocked for you ahead of time.
This property is the perfect fit for a wine country weekend. Great location and comfortable setting right in the vineyards but convenient to all of the shops and restaurants in St. Helena.
The St. Helena House was the perfect spot to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday with friends. There was plenty of room to socialize inside and out, and it was a quick walk to town. I would definitely recommend for multiple couples!
The home is tucked away in a quiet part of town surrounded by beautiful vineyards but minutes to Main Street. It was spacious, clean, and had so much character! Host was awesome, responsive, and went above to give us recommendations of things to do and eat. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time at this fantastic property! Gorgeous setting and such a lovely, comfortable house with great amenities. Our host Jim was very hospitable and helpful! A wonderful stay we are already hoping to repeat!
House was amazing! Owners were wonderful & had great recommendations. The location is private, but only a few minutes from town. The house had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again when we return to this area.
Incredible home/estate with plenty of space and outdoor areas for groups to enjoy the beautiful vineyard landscape. Host was extremely hospitable and communicative and provided a TON of extra amenities (water, chips, snacks, wine, beer, spices, etc.) Highly recommend and hope to stay again!
This was my second time at St Helena House and it never disappoints. The home is charming, the grounds are beautiful and everything you need is close by. Cannot recommend enough.
We loved staying here. The openness of the property and our luck in great weather provided an idyllic place to enjoy the company of our group. We walked to dinner each night and gazed at the night sky upon return.

About the host
Hosted by owner
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, but now live in Napa Valley and have for thirty-four years. As a child I spent many weekends visiting our family home in St. Helena.
Why they chose this property
This house has been in our family for over eighty years. The house was built in the 1880's and my great-uncle purchased it in 1935 from a historical Napa Valley wine family. People have always loved gathering at the St. Helena house and we want that to continue for generations to come.
What makes this property unique
The wrap around porch has been the setting for many wonderful dinners over the years. Sitting on the porch eating and drinking wine, while at the same time looking over the vineyards along with the views of the eastern mountains - Priceless!
