beautiful home, view and lake access for fishing was great. Bathrooms were luxurious, and showers had a high end feel to it and water pressure was really good. coffee on the deck and sunsets with a beverage were relaxing.

Great Stay
Had a wonderful time away with family and our dog. House had everything we need. Hope to be back again. Beautiful views!
Highly recommend! The home is even more beautiful in person, with a stunning lake view. The house was spotless and well cared for. The owner was very accommodating, offering flexible check-in and check-out times and responding quickly to any questions by text. The location is convenient, less than two hours from NYC, which made the trip easy and stress-free. Our dogs absolutely loved running around the property, and we even spotted a family of six deer nearby that added a charming touch. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back.
The house was perfect for a quick winter get away with our adult children. The kitchen was stocked well, the towels and linens were perfect. We enjoyed waking up to the fresh coating of snow and the view of the take. Beautiful development for snowy walks with our dog.
House has a great view of the lake. It was very clean, and well stocked w paper products, towels, and some soaps.
We would not hesitate to stay at this property in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room in the house and the private lake access was really nice. The house was also well stocked and very clean. The only part that bothered us were the beds-they were a little too hard for our liking. Other than that, we loved it!
Our family enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in the Poconos. The house was beautiful with a picturesque view of the lake. The home had all the amenities you could ask for. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and the colorful autumn leaves. The host was readily available and promptly replied to our texts. We hope to return another time.
The lake view was beautiful and deer came right up to the deck everyday. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked, but the beds were uncomfortably firm and the fireplaces didn’t work. The closet door in the master bedroom was broken and the TV in the master bedroom was not working. Also, it was baseboard heat which was a real safety issue with the baby and the toddler crawling around because the baseboards get very hot.The fire pit on the deck was really nice. We made s’mores and relaxed by the fire. The home is spacious and has a really nice layout. There was an abundance of towels, blankets, etc.Overall, we had a great stay. The owners were easy to communicate with, check in was simple, the lake is gorgeous, and the house was very clean.

From the owner: I’m so glad you enjoyed the home’s cleanliness, lake views, and relaxing fire pit. I appreciate the helpful feedback about the fireplace and heating. The fireplaces do require lighting the pilot, and I’m always happy to help walk guests through it if needed. The baseboard heat is a secondary source, and the primary split units in the ceilings are the best option for winter comfort. I truly value your comments and am glad you had a wonderful stay by the lake.
The lake view was absolutely stunning, and we loved how the backyard led right down to the water. Our dog had the best time playing in the lake, and we really enjoyed relaxing on the deck with the family and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We did run into a few small issues during our stay — some lights weren’t working (especially the one leading upstairs, which would help with visibility at night), and there was a broken glass/mirror door in the downstairs bedroom (there was a note on it not to touch it when we got there and I was a bit uneasy near it with 2 babies and my pup). Communication was a bit tricky at times, but we were able to figure things out on our own and still had a wonderful time overall. With a few maintenance updates and quicker responses, this place would be truly perfect. The setting itself is absolutely beautiful and made for a lovely lakeside getaway.
Our stay was truly relaxing. The house and property was as described in the listing. The home was clean and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for meals and prep. My family of four and our dog Scout enjoyed the lake every day, doing lots of fishing, we played board games at the kitchen island and toasted marshmallows at the fire pit at night. I lounged in the hammock and read several books. It was the perfect break from the crazy work and sports schedules that we are bogged down by all year. Our pre-stay questions were answered quickly by Steve. We didn't venture out to use the beach, tennis courts or other amenities of the community because we just wanted a lazy week and that's exactly what we were able to have. Beautiful home and setting, I definitely recommend staying here. :-)
The property is amazing. House is beautiful and the backyard is a great escape. We spent a large amount of time in the lake swimming and hanging out. Neighbors were friendly and it was a perfect weekend. Only cons, and not the houses fault, but the community makes you pay ridiculous permits. They charge almost $10 a person and again for each car you bring. If you’re fishing, it’s another fee per person. The trash is also annoying, you have to bring to a compactor probably about a mile away that doesn’t open until 9, so if you want to leave early, it can screw up plans. Again, nothing negative was to the fault of property owner and the house was perfect.

Many updates needed to the house.
The skylights need repaired. The ceiling fans needed cleaning . We were making a bed and found a partly full water bottle with someone’s prescription drugs under the bed. The outside of the house was filthy. We thought one of the windows was going to fall out when it was windy. We will not be renting here again.

David, we're sorry to hear your stay fell short of your expectations. The homeowner has recently repaired the skylights and also remodeled the bathrooms. We can confirm that there is no issue with any of the windows in the home. There is a significant amount of pollen in the area that has left a light coat on the property, but the owners have a spring cleaning scheduled to remedy the issue. As evidenced by past reviews, we're confident this home will continue to host many satisfied guests! Best, the Evolve Team
Had a wonderful long weekend here. The location did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed the private beach, lake, fire pit and deck with a beautiful view of the water and sunset. The kitchen was nicely stocked and plenty of linens and towels on hand for all guests. Parts of this house and yard are in need of some TLC but overall very nice, clean and comfortable. The only complaint is there is a sunken living room from the kitchen and it can be very dangerous for older folks or people with balance issues. There is also no shower handle or place to put shampoo etc in the master bathroom. We were also looking forward to using the 2 fire places but they were out of order and we were stuck in the house during a cold hurricane. rain)
Our family has 3 acres of land in Central Jersey, big house and land in West Virginia, but Steve’s Lake house has a special place in our hearts. Despite trying other lakefront rentals in Poconos we return to this house every year since 2018.
The house is well-maintained, it is evident that Steve had put considerable thought into every detail, making guests stay both comfortable and enjoyable, we even received a message from host that the house is ready and we can check in 8 hours early :)
The convenience and accessibility of the amenities surpassed expectations. The fully equipped kitchen allows to prepare delicious meals while enjoying the picturesque view. Bedrooms are cozy and provided with a restful sleep after exciting days of exploring the lake and its surroundings.
The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the lake itself. The private dock offered endless opportunities for boating and fishing. Our grandson were enthralled by the countless adventures while discovering the natural wonders surrounding the property.
We are renting this house for 5 years, tried other places around but this property is the best!
Steve is an amazing host.
Thank you Steve for sharing your amazing magnificent place with us
The house is very clean and well kept. The updated bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful. The view to the lake is unreal!! The private lake access, beach area and kayaks and boats were the highlight! We had a magical time and regret not staying longer. Like the other reviews mentioned the mattresses are very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Feel like sleeping on a pull out couch.... we hope the owner will update those, and then we'd love to visit again.
We had a lovely stay at this lake house. The house is in a nice, private location which was very quiet and peaceful. We loved the easy access to the dock and the beach right on the property. We had a great time and hope to go back again
