Romancing The Clouds is located in a beautiful resort and sits at 2,000 feet above sea level, highest elevation of any resort in the area. This location is closer to Cades Cove than any Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg resort in Tennessee. The Preserve Resort, is perched on a ridge top in the mountains surrounding Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Townsend, TN. Located in the mountains of beautiful Wears Valley, approximately ten minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

This cabin provides complete privacy and you will feel miles away as you sit back, unwind and take in the breathtaking surroundings. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen and you can prepare anything from snacks to full-course meals. We also have a charcoal grill if you want to get your grilling on. You are never bored with so many entertainment options this cabin has to offer. Enjoy watching TV in comfort as there is a flat screen TV in every room. On hot days head over to the Honeysuckle Meadows to go swimming or fish in the pond. They even rent fishing poles if you forgot yours. In evenings, you can sit in the Resort pavilion and enjoy a beautiful sunset relaxing a rocking chair. You will ever want to leave the cabin!

One medium size dog (no cats please) is welcome. Extra fee of $95 (plus tax) will be charged per pet. We do ask that dog be crated if left alone in the cabin. Please ask us for our pet policy. You must be at least 21 years of age to rent this home.

Water supply is solely from a private well. It's safe to drink but we suggest bringing bottled water. Please be aware that during certain, unspecific times of the year, the well can yield less water than normal, and we ask guests to practice water conservation to avoid loss of water. Furthermore, the hot tub is the most detrimental to water usage and may not be available during certain periods and availability of this amenity cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, please book accordingly as no refunds will be provided.

Please note that this home is monitored by a security camera situated at the front door. There are no other cameras at the home. Minimum three-night stay required for holiday weekends.

Spring break
The drive up to the cabin was great! Loved the winding roads and scenery. The overall stay was good. The upstairs bed cover had a hole in it and wasnt very warm. The upstairs batnroom toilet got plugged everytime we would flush it. The jacuzzi tub jets didnt work. Or we just couldnt figure it out, which was fine. The hot tub was nice, but smelled a little funky, like there wasnt any chemicals in it. The view was great, they did cut down some trees so the view of the mountains were great! My kids had no complaints, they loved the arcade and pool table. Great location to small town stores and coffee shops. We loved that we had to drive through the great smoky mountains to get to Gatlinburg! Overall we had a great Spring break

Hole in front door, terrible communication, pics are not what the virw looks like
I had a terrible experience with this cabin. The view was nothing like the pictures. I asked how far the drive to pigeon forge was since my mom who is 72 was with and we didn't want the drive to be too long with her medical issues They told me it would be a 20 min drive to pigeon forge and it was 40min There was a hole in the front door and we didn't feel safe. The owners were terrible at communication. I had to ask them for the code to get in when they said i would have it by 2pm day of check in and i didn't get code I also tried communicating with them about the cabin and they quit responding .

My husband and I fell in love with Smokies when we came to visit the first time with my 3 boys and parents. Romancing the Clouds gives me the getaway I need from my daily routine and still have my kids with me. We love traveling and vacationing. It might be staying at 5 stars hotels, exploring another country, bag packing adventure trip, or glamping we done it. Smokies is my all time favorite destination because of the smoky mountains and bears in the wilderness. Hiking and relaxing in the hot tub with glass of wine is my favorite thing to do when I am there. Romancing the Clouds can have my kids under one roof with me and we still have a nice blend of romantic getaway, outdoor activities, relaxation.

The highest compliment you can give Romancing the Clouds, is come visit us again or refer your friend. We would be DELIGHTED!
