The house was beautiful. The photos on VRBO did not do it justice. It was the perfect space for the event! The house was clean and the host was great at communicating.
The house was an excellent place for a large group to meet in Pittsburgh. Convenient location to all the fun on the South Side. 3 parking spots in the garage, Great courtyard filled with all you need to grill and play. The kitchen is well stocked with quality cooking gear, and the knives were sharp!Fun layout with the 3 floors and rooms.
So perfect! Spacious, super clean, well appointed with some quirky architectural aspects, like a fun yellow corner bath tub.The hosts even provided a fire pit with marshmallow holders!Everything you need in the kitchen. And a perfect location to enjoy the Southside!Ideal for our sorority reunion!!
Well maintained comfortable, older property. Fairly easy to get to considering it's Pittsburgh. Helps that it is on the south side. Lots of room for our party of 14 with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, plus 2 living room spaces. Close to family attractions.
The host was very responsive and the kitchen had all the necessities for coffee/tea! Bedrooms were spacious, and the outdoor area was great for hanging out.
Fantastic stay at this beautiful home! The house was beautiful and perfect for our family reunion. There was so much space for our 13 family members - multiple living areas, great dining room, and very comfy beds and thoughtful bathrooms. Beautiful backyard garden and covered porch and dedicated parking. Brian and Jonathan were very gracious and helpful hosts and went way out of their way to answer my many questions and provide information that would help me plan the family reunion from out of state. They also provided extra tables and shares outside for our gathering.
Our group has used this house 3 times and we love it! It's spacious, beautiful and clean! We also love exploring the neighborhood and the easy access to downtown.
This is a great house in a great location for large groups. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to all requests.
We will definitely be back, thank you Brian.
This was a perfect place for our extended family to join us for celebrating our daughter graduating from Pitt! Very clean, very spacious. The home is beautiful and the garden in back was a nice surprise.
We stayed at South Side Stay for four nights with a group of 14 people to celebrate the 250th birthday of our country. I can honestly say this was probably the best vrbo home we have ever visited. There is really nothing I could suggest that would improve our experience. Everything you could possibly need was provided and the place was immaculate. All we had to bring were our suitcases and a few bags of groceries. The home was very spacious, all the beds were extremely comfortable, and the furniture and appliances were in excellent condition. The kitchen was a dream to work in as we prepared several of our family meals. It was a great location for us to get to all of our Pittsburgh activities that we chose to do over the weekend. It was a very hot several days during our visit, but the air conditioning worked perfectly to keep everyone cool. Thanks again for a great Pittsburgh experience. We hope to come back again!
Nine women who have been friends for over 50 years enjoyed this home. There were private bedrooms for everyone, and sufficient gathering space, kitchen supplies and dining areas. We had a great time, and the convent was terrific.
We enjoyed the historical house!
We had ample room for our 9 adults 2 teens and 2 infants.
We had a family wedding over Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed eating together in the spacious dining room.
This house is close to museums and the wedding venue!
We were in the area celebrating parents 60th anniversary that lived in the area. The house was perfect for 20 of us to stay close and the accommodations were perfect. Plenty of room for all and the house is beautiful. Had to communicate with the owner a couple times and he was quick to respond and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend for a large group.
Fantastic property for a large group - plenty of room for everyone, cute neighborhood, close to the stadium. This is our second year and we will be back. Thanks!
This house was exactly right for us! Some family live in the area and others traveled to Pittsburgh to stay in the house, Everyone had a great time. The house had everything we needed -- kitchen is well-stocked, multiple rooms to hang out in so that people could have some space, bedrooms were comfortable. It was just perfect! We are so appreciative!
The Convent is a Wonderful property on the Southside of Pittsburgh
An excellent property for a group of 13. We loved the big dinning table to gather as well as the two comfortable living rooms. The kitchen is well appointed and we enjoyed looking at the larger-than-life clock on the building a few streets over. Covered patio was a treat. The property is Clean and beds comfortable. No complaints from our group. We’d stay there again. Nice job Jonathan and Brian.
We loved the house on Sarah Street. There was plenty of room for everyone and having four bathrooms was great. The house was clean and well supplied. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and coffee and tea were provided. The location was great- close to the Carnegie Science Center, the National Aviary, the Pittsburgh Zoo, and Wholey’s Fish Market- all the places we wanted to visit. The backyard was beautiful. The adult spent a lot of time sitting on the back porch while the kids played cornhole. There was even a very nice grill to use. We would stay here again if we come back to Pittsburgh.
Fabulous restoration of a convent with 9 bedrooms, 4 bath, two living rooms, a massive kitchen with a professional gas stove and a dining room that housed my entire large family for Christmas. A well-equipped house for entertaining- comfortable sleeping. A few family members did not like the neighborhood
