Note - the rate is crazy low because it is for our minimum of 31 consecutive nights, but not to worry - you will be paying a lot less in total , not paying a lot more. We are not classed AS A SHORT TERM RENTAL so we are able to charge much less than those renting for less than 31 consecutive nights. You will doubless find that booking with us for 31 nights is actually less expensive than renting elsewhere for 2 weeks. Just type in a 31 night range and the rate should now show just $158 per night!!! (25% discount offered from our already very low rate). Do the math, remembering that you actually stay there for just the days that you actually want to book, leaving the rest of your 31- night rental vacant. Just divide your total payment for the actual nights that you want by 31 and that will be your daily rate for the 31 nights booked. Example - want two weeks ,, book 31 nights (25% discount price will appear after typing in the 31 night booking) (Other discounts shown below) Before the booking is confirmed, you advsie us of the exact nights you will be there and we confirm that the place will not be rented during nights when you will not be there, and we confirm that you will not be held responsible for anthing taht might happen when you are not in residence. And ... a bonus ... VRBO have advsied us that they do not have to charge HST on bookings exeeding 30 consecutive nights.
This has worked well for us for years, because we only rent for the few summer weeks that we do not plan to be there. We are not a money maker . We just want to cover some of our costs if possible,

Do not enquire unless you are in agreement to rent for the full 31 nights (perhaps you know of others who would be interested in being part of your 31 night rental? If not it will be vacant when you are not there. Although it says 1-night minimum on this listing, there is a web site problem that does not work for us, We definitely do not rent for 1 night and we must rent for 31 nights. . If you only want to come for 1 week the rate is doubled to $420 per night with 5% off for 2 weeks, 15% for 3 weeks and 25% for 4 weeks or more. You will not be approved unless you agree to sign a 31 night contract with us. Beforew booking we will alter the 31 night discount rate to reflect the nights that you actually want to come. This really is a fantasic deal for a lovely place,

Nice family cottage near Algonquin Park- pretty, private, fully equipped, 3 bedroom, fireplace, BBQ, 2 kayaks/paddles/life preservers, big hammock right on edge of lake, binoculars, bird feeders,deck and dock both have tables/chairs/umbrellas/tiki torches/flowers,. Trail, with tree house, clear deep water, great SW view, sun from 11 AM. Queen , double, and bunks. Parking for 3 cars, Free firewood, and spring drinking water. Perfect!.
Notes : deep water for diving and boat mooring, but not good for non- swimmers (rocky shore).
: Other boats can be rented nearby and often are delivered.
: Public beach and boat launch are 5 miles away in town of Dwight Ontario.
: To keep rates low cleaning is required before leaving unless otherwise

: Hard to find a cottage on a large lake that is situated so close to the lake, with preferred SW exposure, clear water for great swimming, privacy, private dock with tiki torches, shaded deck with tiki torches, nice sunsets, kayaks, quiet bay, and just 2 1/2 hours from Toronto.
