Great place for groups or families. We were going to a music festival, so the size was convenient and near where we had to go.

The house itself is nice, but it was dirty. The floors were filthy to the point of people having completely black feet if walking barefoot. The dishes were all dirty and in the dishwasher, which had not been washed. There were towels and wash clothes that appeared to be clean on the beds, but when the wash clothes were wet dirty water came out of them. The walls in a couple of the bedrooms were even dirty. It was very strange that it would be rented out without being cleaned first.

A Great Location with Some Areas for ImprovementWe really wanted to love this stay, and while the location was genuinely wonderful, there were a few aspects of our experience that we hope the host will take into consideration for future guests.Parking was a bit of a challenge for us. The garage space was too narrow for our vehicle, so we ended up relying on street parking throughout our trip. It sometimes took us upwards of 20 minutes to find a spot, and we also noticed that the garage keypad wasn’t working during our stay. When we first arrived, the home could have used a little more attention to cleanliness. The bathroom mats appeared to need a refresh, and a few pieces of bedding had some spots on them so we had to wash the bedding. We did reach out to the host about our concerns with the garage keypad not working properly , and while they were responsive and intended to come by, they were unfortunately unable to make it out to address the issues. The neighborhood has a lot going for it, and we enjoyed the convenience of the location during the day. We would just suggest being mindful if you plan to walk around the area at night. With a few improvements — particularly around cleanliness and parking — this could truly be a wonderful place to stay. We hope our feedback is helpful!

Very spacious and well renovated but in one of the worst areas of DC; high crime and left early due to feeling unsafe with family; parking space in back not accessible by minivan because of narrow alley in back, but compact car may have fit; only communication with host upon entry but then no further responses received when additional questions were asked
