No number on the house had four women in their 70s traisping through a maze of cojoined homes until four in the morning. There was no "heads up" about the conglomeration of homes in such a small space. It was photographed to appear as a single home. No lights were on inside or heat upon arrival, and only one room had heat. There were instructions as how to maintain the heaters to stay on. As a result two of us were freezing all night. On that note, quilts and blankets would be better than throws. As a result, we left and didn't spend the second night there, even if I did pay for it. If you state there is a coffee pot, in the future please state, "I don't supply coffee", as I consider the norm each time I reserve a stay. A safety rail all the way down the stairs would be safer as well. Also, be honest about the parking restrictions. I can honestly say, with all the trips my friends and sisters have utilized VRBO, this is the first time I've ever been disappointed.

We only wish you would have told us you were planning to arrive in the middle of the night - we could have been sure to leave lights on and would have been able to help guide you further, if needed. Finding a cottage at 2 am would be difficult for anyone. We are so sorry. We have accommodated guests arriving after dark before and would have been very happy to do it for you and your group, too. While coffee is not provided by the owner, guests will occasionally leave a stock of what they brought along,
As one of the first guests to stay at this cottage, we appreciate any and all suggestions but respectfully feel a 1-star review was not a fair reflection of this adorable cottage or your stay, and it has hurt this brand-new listing.
The house is charming and the floor layout is a little quirky, but interesting. Good location.
