Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 2 bedroom/1 bath on the first floor of a single-family house. The first floor is separated from the second floor with the private entrance. Each bedroom furnished twin and queen size bed, comfortable for sleeping 3 people.  The living room is furnished with sofa, and TV. Internet is provided. The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped with cooking utensils, microwave, oven and grill. 
 
Both units (First floor) and (Second floor) have bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, washer and dryer, and private entrance. There are security cameras near front and back doors.
Spend the day away, enjoying nearby historic attractions such as The Seville-themed Country Club Plaza or Union Station.
There may be noise from the upstairs unit as people walk on the hardwood floors. The noise may depend on how heavily they step. If it is okay, rent me.

Before checking out, we would appreciate it if you could ensure that all trash bags are securely placed in the designated trash cans.
We kindly ask you to clean up any dirty dishes and return items to their original places, which will greatly assist the cleaning crew, preventing them from spending extra time on these tasks.
Please remember to lock both the front and back doors securely, kindly drop the key into the lockbox. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Our cleaning crew will arrive after 10 am.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
A pet fee of $50 per night per pet, plus a $200 deposit for damages, will be charged for any pets brought into the house.
A penalty of $200 will be charged for smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes indoors. Quiet time between 9pm to 7 am.

In general the property was good and as listed. We had one issue on check in, when we arrived at 5:15pm the house was still being cleaned. It didn't affect us much, as we just left our things and left, but if we had needed to get in immediately it could have caused an issue.

COZY COTTAGE

This was a cozy warm older home that reminded you of going home to grandma for Christmas. It was very clean and warm and fully stocked with things you need and extra. The host goes out of their way to accommodate. We loved it and will definitely go back!!! Friendly friendly people. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

weekend getaway

We came up to KC for a baseball weekend. I picked this house because the location showed very near the stadium. It took us 7 minutes to get there, can't beat that! Very easy to get around to other places in the area. Enjoyed our stay and will add this house to places to stay while we are in town.

The front yard was in serious need of yard work. Shrubs and plants overgrown. Doesn't look like the picture. The porch furniture was old and dusty.The house needs serious work. It appears caulk and paint is as good as it gets.The furniture and decor appear to have come from a fleamarket.Every floor board in the house creeks.I could go on and on. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

It was perfectly located for my husband and I between my sister and his children. It was very comfortable cozy and affordable. We loved staying here so much that we booked it again for christmas. A great place to get away

The host is on top of all request you have of him. Very personable. This place is perfect for my husband and I. It is very centrally located to anywhere you would like to go in the greater Kansas City area. Very clean and comfortable. A great place to relax after a long day with the family at Christmas. The place was essentially as viewed; there were throws on all of the furniture. The outdoor sitting (front porch) was not clean enough for sitting and the home does smell like an old house. The property owner was very pleasant however, he appeared 1 day before our check date to clean the property. I rushed out to accommodate him. The location looked nothing like it was advertised on VBRO. The location was old, outdated and furniture was covered in blankets and curtains are red and the house feels dark and unwelcoming. It was not to the standard I am accustom to with Vbro

The house is equipped with numerous light fixtures throughout, so there's plenty of potential lighting. However, I didn't turn them all on and found the interior to be quite dark as a result. Also, the couch is currently covered with a protective cover, but it's only temporary. Feel free to remove it when you arrive to enjoy the seating area fully.

Suggestions

We have property on VRBO, so I am familiar with listing. I would not use a sweet smelling spray in that house. I opened windows to air it out. I would also take every single thing off of that front porch and power wash it and leave it that way. A couple of nice outdoor chairs would be fine but nothing else. Take the trash cans and put them in the back. These two things alone would make your place more appealing.

I wasn't going to write a review but I have not heard if I will receive a refund as I was told i would. There is a very large storage area attached to the advertised vrbo with lots of items in it, a basement. I am 96% sure there was a squatter in there. I was originally going to stay about 2 weeks. After a snake jumped out at me in the laundry room though a hole in the floor i still stayed until the next day when i left for a few hours and came back to the clock on the microwave and on the oven being set to correct time. I know this had not been done when i left. Felt like this kind of stuff was happening the whole time and this was too much! I stayed about 7 days. I feel like the storage area should have been locked off from the rest of apt. I have been going on vacay alone since i was 18. Never been scared like that and I am from this area originally.

Had a nice stay. Very comfy bed. There is a second rental above the main house, if it's occupied you can hear them them from the kitchen. I look Guard to returning again in the future when I'm back in town.
