We wanted a place far enough away from Fremont Street to be able to sleep after Punk Rock Bowling music festival. This place was perfect. It is close enough to the music venues to walk but far enough away from the unwanted noise to allow restful sleep after the festival. Kitchen had all the essentials and Albertsons Grocery Store was nearby. Couldn't have asked for more.
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. We chose it because of its vintage style and the beautiful patio—and were not at all disappointed. The patio and landscaping are absolutely gorgeous! As others have mentioned, the property was very clean and comfortable, and it’s so nicely appointed, with great care given to the vintage feel. My favorite hangout space was “Bedroom 4”; the furnishings have changed a bit since the photos were taken, but not substantially, and I loved reading a book on the futon couch with the patio door open when it was a bit too chilly or hot to sit outside. The host was very responsive and we had some nice chats about the property via text. The neighborhood was quiet, and I enjoyed hearing children playing nearby. The only “drawbacks” we found, and which we felt were very minor, were: 1) The house seems to be in the flight path of some helicopter tours; there was a non-stop parade of helicopters several times each day, but it was never for very long and they were only loud outside (we could barely hear them from inside as long as the doors were closed). And 2), as others have mentioned, we did find dead cockroaches multiple mornings—but we saw no other signs of their presence, which says to me that the place is kept very clean and is treated to take out any roaches that work their way in. I only wish we’d had more time during our visit to enjoy the back yard; we never had a chance to enjoy the fire pit.

Relaxing Time
What a great place! Location makes this place so quiet, which after a day on the Strip is more than welcome. Access is easy, and safe, coming through the back. The kitchen is well-appointed, though fairly, we never cooked while we were there. But the decor! There are several vintage pieces of art, decor, and furniture that made being here a step back in time. The home was perfect for 3 adults with plenty of room for more. We had a great time!
Our stay was great. Very spacious and quiet neighborhood. The bathroom shower head off the patio ( 4th bedroom/living space) kept coming off while in use. Had a few insects the first day, but you really can not control waterbugs in the dessert.
More positives, my family was pleased. And we are looking forward to many more memorable family trips together.
Thanks
I liked the location, price, and communication of the owner. The cockroach situation needs to be dealt with. Saw 2 our first night and that was it, but still.....
The house is very clean and comfortable, we have 6 adults staying comfortably. The host was great, we had an afternoon flight on check out day so she let us have a late check out time. No issues at all we will definitely be back.

Nice & Convenient
Overall the home was very nice and was a very convenient location to many of the places we wanted to visit. Our only concern was the electrical outlets. We were very glad we had no toddlers because many of the outlets had no covers. The plug ins would literally fall out of the outlets in 2 of the bedrooms making them very hard to use. It was very inconvenient for my CPAP machine. Fell out 3 times during the first night so I wrapped the cord around the bed frame next to the plug and that helped. The location is very near what the businesses called the homeless population but we had no issues during our stay, we did drive more than walk just to remain safe. Overall I would recommend this home to those looking for a nice but less expensive option!

Cute mid century modern house
What a nice house! It obvious the owners did a great job renovating an original Vegas house. Bedrooms are nice, common areas are comfortable. Had difficulty getting the TV to work; seemed to be a problem with the remote. Both bathrooms are ok; original one is small. I noted other visitors mentioned problems with cockroaches; these are still an issue. I understand they are frequent visitors in the desert, but we had 2-3 dead ones each morning. If you are squeamish, this is not the place for you. Overall. I do recommend this house!
Cozy and comfortable home conveniently located to everything!
Great place! We were two sisters & their husbands, our mom, and our two kids. The house is in a fab location for getting anywhere we wanted to visit, and walking distance to a fantastic taco stand! It feels spacious and it's very cute!
A few tips for guest awareness: the house reminded us a of staying with a welcoming & hospitable friend who maybe just graduated from college or is in their first home. The kitchen has the basics, but not *all* the basics. Probably most visitors to Vegas don't come to do a lot of home cooking, but make sure you plan that way. For example, there's not really any serrated knives, there are no measuring cups or measuring spoons, and mixing bowls are sparse. There was one hand towel per bathroom, and one bath towel per person plus two extra, which felt limited. But nobody in our group was a two-towel bather so this wasn't a problem for us. Also, I suspect that the *extremely helpful and responsive* property manager would have gotten us more towels had we asked. We did ask for a couple of things and she was right over to get us sorted, which was wonderful and made us feel very cared for! And in contrast to other places we have stayed, there was ample toilet paper for the entire household. The front-facing bedroom gets a ton of morning sun, so put your early risers in that one! It also has a very loud squeaky box spring, so best for sleepers who don't toss & turn much. Other beds are basically silent. But all the beds were comfortable and cozy!
Overall was a good stay, however was unsettling to see several cockroaches. Cute decor.

Great property, conveniently located. Car not necessary if you’re not opposed to walking 20 min to and from Fremont. The Deuce (bus) is also 20 min away.
Only criticism of the place is one of the beds (Queen) is EXTREMELY creaky. It’s excessive, really. Avoid it if you can.

Vintage beauty
We enjoyed being able to be there for viva Las Vegas but still be able to enjoy the peaceful environment just a few miles from the strip.
The house was comfortable and located in a area just close enough to Freemont area and the strip. Perfect for those who want to enjoy the Vegas life and also short trips for Nature adventures.
The property had alot more amenities than we thought it would, dishes and cooking items which made it feel like a home away from home. We were able to cook and not spend a fortune on eating out.
The rooms are cozy and the beds are extremely comfortable. The living room space was great for everyone to gather in with plenty of seating.
Close to Fremont street and not too far to get to the strip made it great for our adult only family getaway. However, we plan to rent it again for another trip with our kids.
Wish we could have used the backyard space more, but it was raining during our stay.
We really enjoy this property. My brother, nephew & stepson come for basketball event that includes Arizona Wildcats. The location is an easy Uber/Lyft ride to where we want to be. Always enjoyable!
