The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Quiet hours 10:00PM-8:00AM. No gatherings or parties with non-guests on premises. If spills on patio, clean immediately with light detergent. If grill is used, please tighten valve to off position.
Replace used lengths of firewood. Return keys to lockbox after locking up. $25 fee for lost/ misplaced keys.
Place trash and recycling in bins outside next to basement egress prior to departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Failure to adhere to these rules is grounds for dismissal/ loss of payment Safety first! Stove is complicated, smoke damage is $. DON’T use if unsure.
Never leave fire unattended. Ensure patio fire pit is extinguished before leaving it. DO NOT place metal cover over flames/coals. Do not drown fire.

Loved the area and the outdoor space, house was very charming. Was surprised to see some added gifts for us given by the host. Surrounding area of York was convenient and home was close to other hot spots in Maine as well as New Hampshire. Host communicated well with me. Would highly recommend this wonderful home.

Warm and inviting property. Ample sleeping areas for a family stay. Clean, well stocked home. Plenty of clean towels and bedding. If needed, hosts also had any beach necessities availableThe fabulous wraparound stone patio provided the perfect gathering area for the whole family, Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles without blocking the main driveway.Close proximity to area attractions, making an easy drive to and from, providing the home sought feel after a long day.

We had a wonderful week at the beach staying in Nate's home! This is a great family home, and it's very clean and charming, with a well appointed kitchen. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and games very much. The location was very convenient - close to the beach and to grocery shopping and restaurants/cafes. The back patio is a show stopper! It was perfect for lounging around and reading and also some evening smores in the fire pit. The outdoor shower was really handy for beach days, too! The host is very friendly, and communication was quick and easy. We had a great stay!

The property was very clean. The listing said it sleeps 5 we didn't know we could not have more then 5 eventhough some nights there was only 2 of us and 2 nights we were not at the property at all because we were at our sons wedding. The reason given was the property has a septic so there is only a max of 5 people. We had to make other accommodations for 2 relatives for one night. Had we know ahead of time we could have made other arrangements. Other than that our stay was great!

Everything about this property was perfect fo our family Christmas get-together. Near the highway and the beach. Such a cute cozy cottage with a well-appointed kitchen. Everything was easy to find and use. When we had questions, the owner answered right away. They even brought us a slow cooker and put up a Christmas tree! A snack bucket was a wonderful treat too. As an EV owner, the charger was an added bonus. We plan on returning.

The house was exactly as described. It was absolutely clean and well equipped. The host even provided a few treats such as chips to welcome us. The house was in a very convenient location which was a short drive or walk to the village center. A grocery store was less than a mile away on US1.There was ample room for several cars although we only had one. A nice feature was the deck off the living room featuring a BBQ and a fire pit. There were plenty of plates, glasses and utensils in the kitchen which was quite large. Overall we were glad we picked this house for our stay in York.

Love staying in or going out. House has wood floors, lots of light, cozy rooms. Well-appointed patio, gas grill, fire pit, outdoor rinse shower, EV hookup and garage, Nearby beaches, eats, historic sites, golf, walking trails. 10 min walk to York Village, 15 mins drive to Portsmouth NH, 45 mins to Portland ME. Can’t go wrong.
