The view from this home is absolutely stunning. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. The home was extremely clean. Would highly recommend for a family of 7.
We had the best time here during our weekend! The home was equipped with everything we needed. Beds were Comfy and you can’t beat that view. We saw dolphins and the fishing was great! This was the perfect relaxing home!
We loved the property. It was rusticly charming in all the best ways. Our family of five had so much fun playing, fishing, and relaxing together.

Wonderful Getaway!
Excellent vacation home for my family. We enjoyed every aspect of the house, from location, to ease of access, to the privacy it offered. We plan to be back.
This place is ideal for a laidback family. Quiet location, well-stocked, and fantastic views. The natural beach is perfect for kids to build sand castles and play. We saw TONS of wildlife. There's plenty of restaurants and shopping within distance. Perfect spot for a relaxing vacation.
This is a lovely property nestled right on the water in a friendly neighborhood. A truly amazing story of resilience behind the property as well, having survived two catastrophic hurricanes. Can’t wait to stay at this beautiful and unique property again
The property is the perfect secludedgetaway for an outdoorsman type. Beautiful wood cabin look from the inside and it has an awesome view from anywhere on the property. Well accomodated and easy to get too.
This home was great! You are right on the Ocean and even though you can’t really swim in the water there is a sandy area where kids can play in the beach and get their feet in the water. Very private and property was clean.
We stay at a different Vrbo every year, this one is my favorite!!! Awesome views of both sunset and sunrise. We saw dolphins and caught plenty of fish and birdwatching. It’s just what we needed after a long and stressful year.
We had an amazing time there. If you are looking for somewhere to just kick back and relax this is the place for you. We seen dolphins just about every day we were there right out in front of the house the little private beach area was great for the kids to play around on and find hermit crabs and shells. The house is just as pictured and is very cozy and the views are amazing we will most definitely be back.
If your looking for quant nice place to get away this is it. Perfect for our family. Best of both worlds beach house with cabin feel. As my wife said looking out over the ocean from inside feels like a cruise ship with all the glass and closeness to the water. Remember to bring your fishing poles as well. First time being there and caught redfish and trout right out in front of the house. We will be renting again.

We did have some leaks during our stay due to a bad storm. I noticed the property manager about it. Nothing of ours was damaged.

Excellent Location for Views
The view from the deck is amazing. The house was comfortable, welcoming and clean. The beds, pillows and bedding gave us a great night's restful sleep. There is little beach to speak of except for about 15 to 20 feet on an adjacent property. If you are looking to swim this is not the house for you.
This house has an amazing history and is clean and is literally right on the ocean. It has a great beach to sit in the sand, if you want to swim, this is probably not the place for you -but everything else was great. Turns out, the gulf in this part of the country is pretty muddy, so not great swimming, but awesome ocean watching and getting warm!
The Rustic Retreat was like a mountain lodge with the waves of the gulf all around! The view of the gulf and the endless sky with the ocean wind was spectacular-with plenty of shaded area under the house. The home is decorated in a vintage eclectic style that was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, I would suggest getting very acquainted with the stovetop before attempting to cook! The host was readily available to answer all questions. We love the Gulf Coast and will be back soon!
The house was exactly as expected. Easy access to the beach area. Don't plan on swimming here due to lots of debris/old piers, etc. This didn't bother us though. We were able to collect lots of shells, hermit crabs, and various other types of crabs were in abundance. We saw dolphins daily and the pelicans fly overhead frequently. Absolutely beautiful location.
The only thing was stove And oven we think was shut off from being used didn’t come on but that was ok because we are out I cook all the time anyway so made it nice !
