The room was very nice. The only issue we had was that the sink was plugged and when we contacted Christine she responded expeditiously. The sink was fixed within an hour.We spent the majority of our time with our son and his family so we mainly just used the room to sleep and for showering.

My wife and i loved the place. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. It was easy to locate and cozy. The place was clean and had option for coffee, tv and mini fridge. I would definitely stay again. The ONLY DOWNSIDE we brought our own pillows and didn't notice the radiator was above our head and they burned and melted really bad but definitely would stay again

My stay was good until checkout day. The owner went away for a few days but never made arrangements for anyone to plow her driveway and the night before my departure we got over 8" of snow and her driveway is a hill and I couldn't get out. I texted her but didn't get any response for over an hour and by then I had paid for someone to plow me out. I think if you rent out your rooms in the winter, you need to be prepared for snow and have someone on standby so your guests can get out.

I'm sorry that stressed you out. Yes, we went away for Xmas. However, I sent you a message the night before your check-out and let you know that our neighbor would be happy to plow the driveway if you could not get your car out. However, I never heard back from you until you had already checked out. I'm glad the rest of your day was nice. Happy 2026

It was a cute little room. Perfect for what we needed. Every thing was provided as if we were in a hotel. Particularly liked the variety of teas.

We moved to the New Paltz area from NYC in 2017 for fresh air, hiking and rock climbing. My husband is a mailman in New Paltz and I'm a Geologist. We have two teenage boys and two cats.

Why they chose this property

We love the proximity to NYC and local ski resorts like Hunter and Belleayre. It's a great area for hiking, biking, sky diving and most of all rock climbing.

What makes this property unique

The house is nestled on a small hill and the backyard overlooks a lovely working farm. It is also situated one mile from the rail trail.
