Great location. We had a family of 4 upstairs and a couple in the downstairs suite. That's a perfect scenario. Wonderful views, instructions for the soundbar, and TV. A place to store surfboards and outside shower made surfing convenient. Proximity to the pool and beach access was a nice plus.

From start to finish the hosts were amazing. Arturo was very communicative and went out of his way to make sure everything went smooth for us during our stay. Rosalia, the guest manager was very accommodating and professional as well. We had a last minute guest/car change and they both helped us immediately. 5 stars to both of them. The property was beautifully decorated, clean and had all the amenities we needed. We loved our stay and appreciated the special bottle of Baja wine they gave us to celebrate my son’s bday. We can’t wait to go back!

We loved our stay especially the beautiful balcony. The property backs up to the pickle ball courts and there were people playing and talking past 10 pm. There was also angarage band playing in one of the units on our street. I think security could have monitored these things a little better. Other than that, the price was very reasonable for the space. We had a great time!

Hi Angelique and Jason....Thank you for your comments. I agree that Security should have monitored the use of the Tennis Court after 10pm and the excessive music after 10pm is consider a violation of our HOA "Quiet Time" policy. By way of this email, I will notify the HOA Administration, that the Security Dept's manager should be doing a "better job" with an automatic dept policy of doing a 10 pm "security walk" to the Tennis court and throughout the complex and to alert Guests who are playing loud music enought to disturb neighbors. Also, I will post a memo on the refrigerator of Casa Franz to alert guests with the phone number of security in the event of a concern. This phone number can be easily accessed with a guest's cell phone. Again, thank you for letting me know. On your next visit, we hope that you will consider coming back to visit Casa Franz! We will provide a complimentary one extra day on your next 3 day booking! Amy & Arturo Franz Casa Franz - #146

Great family vacation

The property was fantastic, and Las Gaviotas is a wonderful neighborhood. At night, the ocean and beach make great sounds, and the sunset views from the jacuzzi are stunning. Over the long weekend, the HOA brought a fresh fish taco stand/cart.

Memorial Day weekend getaway

Our family had a great time staying at Casa Franz. It had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. We really appreciated the supply closet with beach items and games for our kids. The frosted mugs in the freezer was also a nice surprise.

Safe beautiful getaway

Had the most lovely time at Casa Franz! The home itself was clean, comfortable and absolutely perfect. They had everything you could need- a grill, coffee maker, blender, and more. The beds were comfortable, the amenities great and the patio perfect for enjoying meals outside. The community itself is great with a pool, jacuzzi and beach all just a short walk from the house. Can’t wait to come back!

AMAZING house & Experience

Rented the house with some friends and family and had a great experience from the start. Arturo was VERY helpful with recommendations for the area on things to do and routes to take. And the house was amazing - super clean, nicely decorated and included games and books and was very close to the pool. I have stayed at a few rentals in Las Gaviotas and this house was my favorite. I'll definitely be back to stay next time I'm in the area.

Dreamy Beach house

Where do I start , from the moment you enter las gaviotas you know you are on a safe and peaceful environment. My family and I enjoyed Franz house , my children played volleyball at the beach, enjoyed the pool and the waves everyday. Comfort is a must for me and Franz house and las gaviotas gave me that and more.. we are totally coming back and hopefully in the future be able to own property there.... just a dreamy place with a million dollar view.

Quick vacay

Arturo was very kind and helpful. He provided a bottle of Champaign to help us celebrate the occasion which was much appreciated. Place was clean and well taken care of. The fees are over 100% of the cost per night which was a surprise but this information was shared up front prior to me booking.
