House Rules & Friendly Reminders

Water Conservation – Our water is hauled in weekly (every Monday by a local delivery company). Please do your best to conserve water during your stay. We’ll always do our part to keep it stocked, but being mindful helps a lot.

Winter Travel – In the winter, snow chains are mandatory. The road leading up to the home is not manicured and can get bumpy, so please be sure to bring a vehicle that can handle rural conditions. Think of it as part of the adventure of being off-grid in the mountains!

Off-Grid Experience – This home is designed to feel like a rustic, camping-style getaway with the comforts of home. It’s rural, peaceful, and intentionally off the beaten path.

Cooling & Heating – Please note there is NO air conditioning. The Williams average summer high is around 70°F, and the home stays comfortable by opening windows for cool mountain air along with fans provided. The thermostat in the home is for heating only — it will not cool the house.

Internet – We provide the fastest internet available in the area, but rural service can sometimes be limited compared to city speeds. Thank you for your patience if there are slowdowns — we do our very best to keep you connected.
