The property was perfect for our sibling vacation, totaling 6 adults. Plenty of room to accomodate the three couples and we all enjoyed the view of the lake and grounds! It was nice to be able to use the host's canoe for a lake excursion and see the loons and a bald eagle. The host was very timely with replies to questions before arrival and the information packet was helpful for property info and surrounding points of interest. Overall, a great stay!
Lovely secluded home with lakefront views. Nicely tucked away from the bustle of Stowe but easy enough to drive there and explore. We were a family of 7 and the home was well suited for us. Excellent communication throughout the check-in process. We would definitely return. Many thanks!
We had a wonderful stay! The house was comfortable, spacious, and perfect for our family, but the beautiful Lake Eden setting was definitely the highlight. We loved using the kayaks and paddleboards and spending time together in and by the water. Even with some rainy weather, we had such a relaxing week enjoying the house, playing games, cooking, and taking in the gorgeous views. It truly felt like a getaway, and we would love to return some day!
This is a well-equipped, clean, and peaceful property with spectacular views of the lake! We thoroughly enjoyed our family time during a four day stay.
This house, was a perfect fit for our family get together!! Everyone was comfortable. It was gorgeous being on Lake Eden!! And, the kitchen and dining area was great for our family meals together.
This was our third winter rental with the house serving as our base for family ski trips to Jay Peak. The house has everything you would want for a winter vacation...ample space, a well-stocked kitchen, lake/mountain views, a fireplace and plenty of wood. 10/10
The home was exactly as described - peaceful, inviting, clean. It had plenty of room for our group and was well equipped with everything we could need. Host was communicative leading up to and through the stay. Close access to the mountains for skiing which was a big plus. Would also love to come back in the warmer weather!
The property is well cared for and met our needs of a multigenerational family of 10. Privacy was sensational and priceless. The kitchen was exceedingly well equipped and the extra dining space on the screened in porch was a lovely “perk.” We appreciated the acrylic panels on the stairway in the separate apartment for child safety. It would be beneficial to have something like that on the one section of the deck near the gazebo. The waterfront and the Mountain View were wonderful. There are plenty of deck chairs and outdoor game equipment. We appreciated not having the TV in the main living space but the room it was in felt “stuffy” and we did not utilize it at all.Overall it is a beautiful region to explore and this property provides an exceptional “home base.”

I'm sorry that the tv room felt stuffy. That room is definitely smaller than the huge living room, but when the curtains on the tall windows that span the entire length of the wall are opened the room feels less stuffy. The deck is just a few feet off the ground, and it does have evenly spaced balusters to prevent a child from falling off. The small slate patio area that is in front of the sliders and connects the two decks does not have a railing, but it is only 1 foot above ground level and has small shrubs in front of it that are the same height or higher than the patio. Perspective renters can refer to the photos of the deck and patio if they have concerns.
This home was amazing! Perfect location for skiing at Jay Peak resort and ample size to accommodate a whole family. The host was very communicative and helpful. Would recommend!
This house was a great spot for our girls weekend! Beautiful views, comfortable furniture, and all the amenities. Lorae was friendly and informative. Loved having a wood stove to sit around, especially in the sub zero temps this weekend. Also, the notes posted around the house about how to work things were very helpful!
This is our second stay here with extended family, and it’s lovely! Gorgeous views, cozy fireplaces inside and out, lots of space, huge lawn for games, and kayaks and stand up paddle boards made it all a lovely stay! We’ll be back!
We loved staying here!
Well equipped kitchen, and lots of space!
We had 3 adults and 3 teenagers and were very comfortable.
20-30 min drive to Craftsbury Outdoor Center.
Very quiet. We all slept well.
Beautiful Location and views - right on Lake Eden (quiet and private) and close to hiking trails, breweries, shopping, and much more. Property was large and open with plenty of room for two families of four both inside and out. We had a fantastic time. Would highly recommend.
Loved the property and the house was great. Hope to get back in the warmer months. Contact was great throughout the stay with the property manager. Response time was fast.

Thanks Jessica. Would be happy to have your group back another time.
This property is perfect for extended family to stay. Everyone can have their own space and privacy but the hub of the house is perfect to come together. Location is excellent. The lake is wonderful. The Mountain View was continually changing. Fully equipped property!
This was our second stay, and it met our high expectations. The house is spacious and well-kept. The bathrooms are updated and clean, the kitchen is well laid-out and opens into the dining and living areas so that people can help cook and socialize more easily. The lot is large, so it feels very quiet and private, and the view of the lake and mountains is beautiful. Great spot!
The house and its access to a wonderful lake was magnificent. The access to a couple of canoes, a couple of kayaks, a couple of paddle boards and a paddle boat was wonderful. Our two grandchildren had wonderful time and enjoyed many hours on the lake, as did their parents and us (their grandparents). The house was comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. We look forward to coming back!
