Great views & calm, stunning Provence Mas refurbished

An incredibly relaxing place, where a traditional Provence ‘Mas’ (totally renovated) is set in a beautiful Mediterranean garden, with olive trees surrounding a pool (heated on request), with stunning panoramic sea views, close to town, shops and seaside, ideal for groups and families.

The stunning panoramic sunset views and the calm of this villa laying on the Castellaras hill will conquer you!

...and, as one of my guests did twice, you might even happen to win a prize at the Cannes film festival!

You will have access to the villa, the pool (would you like to have it heated? please ask me for more details), the magnificent garden and the olive trees terraces overlooking the bay of Cannes, of Mandelieu and the Esterel Cap.

This area between Mougins and Valbonne is a great area for golf (9 courses within 10 km), walks (the protected park of Valmasque is only 3km away), hikes, beaches (10 km away), sightseeing of charming Provence villages (Mougins, Valbonne, Grasse, Opio, Antibes) or exciting Cannes nightlife!

From Cannes you'll be able to visit the enchanting blue waters of the Lerins Islands (10 minutes ferry trip) or drive a convertible car to the breathtaking cliffs of the Esterel coastal road.

Beautiful Nice, with its famous Promenades des Anglais and lovely restaurants, is only 30 km away, reachable by highway or train.

The villa has a garage with electric door (just pay attention to the tricky slope when you come in and out) plus a private parking place on the road, on the side of the villa gate.

Mouans Sartoux train station is 1.4 km downhill.

A nice house but a bit worn

The host is very lovely, the house is located beautifully, the layout is very practical with many bedrooms and large common areas. However everything is a bit worn, the pool was leaking, the dishwasher did not work properly for some days, a toilet was not working properly and the sunbeds were very old and fragile and broke when using them. Hillside living

The house is difficult to access. The entrance to the garage is steep, and there are many steps to climb outside and inside the property. There was a musty scent in the basement sitting area. The AC didn't work properly, in the bedroom, on the top floor. We loved the big terrace, the view, and the pool area.

Although the property has a spectacular view and great pool our groups stay was not positive. We received extremely poor response to issues from the host. There was bugs all over the property and in our beds. No hot water. Very limited and worn linens and bedding. I have rented many other properties through a different platform and would not recommend staying here.

Beautiful villa, close to Cannes and Grasse

Beautiful villa and views of the Cannes Bay that can't be beat! The garden is is small haven with a heated pool and tastefully landscaped. The house is overall clean, spacious, and well furnished -- with 3 to 4 bedrooms in the main levels of the house (one of those bedrooms is 2 communicating bedrooms so can be used for kids or a family), and 2 bedrooms in the basement, plus a play room. Moving around the house requires going up a lot of stairs, and there is limited parking outside the house. It is really well situated, in close proximity to the town of Mouans-Sartoux (less than 5 mins by car) with many restaurants, modern art museum, and train station. Alberto was very responsive and attentive to our needs. Highly recommended for a great stay on the Cote d'Azur!

De nombreux espaces bien agencés, une maison très agréablement équipée, une vue époustouflante! Nous avions été conquis dès la réservation par la gentillesse d'Alberto, le propriétaire, et nous avons été comblés au-delà de notre attente! La maison est très agréable aussi hors saison, avec ses couchers de soleil sur les collines (avis aux romantiques!), sa luminosité, son chauffage efficace : nous recommandons absolument!

Magnifique maison et super accueil

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour dans la maison d'Alberto! L'agencement de la maison est parfait : les enfants ont leur espace à l'étage du bas avec leurs chambres, leur salle de bain et leur petit salon; chacun des 3 couples d'adultes ont aussi leur espace avec chambre et salle de bain; la cuisine est parfaitement équipée et très fonctionnelle; la vue est splendide; la piscine est très bien pour une petite dizaine de personnes; et enfin, l'accueil d'Alberto et la facilité de communication avec lui pendant le séjour pour régler quelques détails ont été très appréciables; nous espérons revenir!

Maison fonctionnelle et très bien située

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cette maison idéale pour 8 personnes. Bien située elle nous permet de rejoindre Cannes et Mougin assez rapidement. Proche de plusieurs magasins alimentaires, la ravitaillement est aisé. La piscine est agréable et nous donne une vue splendide de la vallée. La maison est par ailleurs bien équipé en éléctroménager et appareil divers (tables tournantes, parasol mural pour canapé extérieur). RAS sur les chambres. Seul bémol : il existe beaucoup de petites choses dans la maison qui doivent etre réparé ou acheté à nouveau (assiettes, verres, bols..) pour un séjour parfait. Un rafraichissement (peinture) de la maison serait également un plus.
