Larkin's Cabin was clean, modern, spacious, and well-equipped. However, it was not as peaceful outside as I had hoped because of the busy road. We enjoyed our stay, and we appreciated that we were able to stay with our dog. Larkin's Cabin is located only minutes from South Higgins Lake State Park, North Higgins Lake State Park, Roscommon, and the Au Sable river.

This cabin was clean, cozy, and convenient for our trip to Cross Country Ski Headquarters, just down the road. The host was speedy with responses to my questions and very helpful. Our family is hoping to come back to stay for another ski trip next year!

Awesome weekend with a group of girls. Cabin was great, everything we would ever need. Very cozy and clean. Spent some time shopping and mostly playing cards at the cabin. Thank you so much!!

Pros: The home was lovely and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable! The appliances throughout the home were top grade!! The host was friendly and prompt in responding to any issue. Outdoor games (corn hole) were a big plus! The firepit was great and wood included was a great bonus!! Cons: the road is busy and heavy (fast traffic) constantly. No fence around property, so its not ideal for pets and small children . The patio was beautiful, however there was no patio umbrella to shade the area. The price was perfect for us but have since learned that it has increased 50 % more than what we paid. Staying next year will be out of the question for us. Sad. Overall, a nice and cozy home.
