The place was a perfect home base as my wife and I explored Acadia NP over two days. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen and bath were both great, and the ambience was best of all. I would happily come back and spend even more time here.
Bobcat Cottage is ideal! The owner does an amazing job of stocking the cottage with everything needed, and it is impeccably clean. But the thing we liked most was it's quaintness, serenity and location (near Acadia Natl Park but away from crowds and congested traffic). We would definitely recommend to stay there! Oh, and did I mentioned that two deer walked within feet of the cottage the very first morning of our stay?!
I don't think I've ever stayed at a place so nicely furnished. There were games, coffee supplies, spices, toiletries, firepit and wood, grill, and more. We loved the place! Wish we had had more time to enjoy the it. Check in and communication was easy.
The cabin is clean, quiet, comfortable, and well supplied with everything you might need. Great places to eat nearby and close to hiking trails. We will definitely stay here again!
Our family has such a great time staying in this cottage. It was so clean, plenty of room for our family of 5, well stocked with wood for camp fire, etc. It is perfectly quiet, and you are on a short road, off a cup-de-sac - so I never felt isolated (which I don’t enjoy!). But don’t worry about noise from others - we never even heard/saw another car drive by. I would absolutely stay here again!
We had a lot of fun in this cottage. It is nice, spacious and has everything you need. The only downside is the park is about 30 min away, but not a big deal as the area is lovely. Highly recommended!
We had a great stay at bobcat cottage. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed the quiet location that was still only a short drive to many of Acadia National Park’s most visited sights. Cottage was clean and welcoming. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our dinners at home. Would absolutely stay again on another visit to Acadia!
We had a great stay at Tammy’s cottage and would happily return. We prefer staying in the Southwest/Bass harbor area when visiting Acadia to escape the crowds while still having great food only 5 minutes away like Archie’s Lobster. Our dog also had a great time and the cottage had all the basic cooking & grilling essentials so we cooked for most meals. Thank you Tammy so much for having us and being a great host.
The photos don't give this property justice. We have rented a lot of homes over the decades and this one was the cleanest and had the most thought pit onto the decor and functionality. Like the motion detector night light in the bathroom! We really felt welcomed. The owner understands hospitality. We would definitely stay here again due to the location setting and house itself. Very quiet and no road noise.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Not what we expected
The Good: Cabin comes with bug spray which is heavily needed for the mosquitos waiting right outside 24/7. Wi-Fi is solid and the area provides quiet settings. Plush towels and great washer and dryer set up. Well stocked cabin.
The Bad: when you enter the cabin you will smell mothballs. The listing says Queen size but it’s a Full and very uncomfortable, huge dissatisfaction for the price paid per night. Location is 20-30 minutes drive into town so plan your days out to stay out all day. The couch/chair in the living area also could be updated for more comfy seating. There is no A/C but we found a small fan upstairs that helped a little at night. The water heater is in a timer so no hot water for showers mid day. We had to use towels to provide privacy for some of the windows as they did not have blinds. The grill was in need of cleaning upon arrival so we needed up not using it. The exit process was unusual we had to strip the beds and take out all the trash, I thought that’s what the cleaning fee was for?
Overall: We made the best of it and the property manager was made aware of the bed upgrade needed, I’m sure they will update that. I have to give this Visit a 7/10. Will not revisit this cabin but will revisit Bar Harbor!
The perfect way to celebrate our wedding elopement weekend
This rental was above and beyond what we were hoping for. When we say this cabin was the perfect rental on the “quiet side”, we mean it! There was not a sound or person in your surroundings, all you could see or hear was the wind blowing through the trees. Out of all the places we have stayed in Acadia (cabins, campsites), this was by far the most quiet. The host was very attentive to our special occasion and left a detailed note, celebratory wine and swan towel decorations on the bed. The host also reached out a few times to make sure we were comfortable and the heat was working well enough given the drop in temps. We are blown away by this rental and recommend it so so so much! We will definitely be back for wedding anniversaries to come. Not enough good things to say!!!!
My parents and I greatly enjoyed our stay in Bobcat cabin. Perfectly placed on the quieter side of the island while still within a short distance of hiking, kayaking, and amazing food options. We would come back in a heartbeat!
This property was just as expected. Clean, quiet, and stocked with everyday items that are needed. It was nice to have wifi since mobile data is spotty around the areas of Acadia National Park.

Amazing cottage!
We had the best week exploring Acadia National Park. The cottage was a perfect home base. It was clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a great week. The host was on hand to answer any questions we had and even checked in to make sure things were going smoothly. If we find our way back up to Maine, we will definitely stay here again.

Great Cabin for Acadia Hiking
Great place to stay while hiking in Acadia. Cabin was clean, kitchen was well equipped and the rental included all the linens you could need. We appreciated the WIFI since cell service on the island is spotty at best. If you want a quiet, quaint and remote place to stay at Acadia, would highly recommend.
The checkin process was easy. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

Meticulously clean and Charming
We needed a place to stay when we visited Acadia NP that could accommodate our dog. This place was everything we could have wanted. In addition to being meticulously clean and charmingly appointed when we arrived, it had everything we could have needed for kitchen, BBQ, and general household appliances.
The cabin was in a very private spot in the Maine woods yet an easy drive over to the National Park and a mere five minute drive to a top-rated lobster restaurant, Thurston’s. We ate there twice! Our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay.
It was a quiet Quaint country cottage. Perfect for the best vacation in several years. Exactly what we were looking for. Communication was friendly, very clear and concise. Would return with out hesitation
Very beautiful cabin! Cozy and quiet. It was nice to get away. The cabin is only 20-30 min away from all the popular sites to see like Bar Harbor or Sand Beach, but also so close to a lot of hiking trails like Acadia Mountain which my 8 yr old and 5 yr old hiked!!! Also next to Echo lake beach!! Cabin is really great for a family.
