The inaugural stay was just wonderful. A very pleasant and relaxing home away from home. Love the space, simplicity of design, yet modern appliances and appointments, inside and outside. Nice neighborhood and close to hiking and a hop skip and jump to anywhere around Marquette. We hope to come back again.

The house is beautiful and well-kept. This was the furthest we have stayed from the lake, but it was easy to get to downtown, the lake, the bike trails, hiking trails, and breweries restaurants. The owners live in the house right behind this one, and they are very attentive to the rental. They reached out several times to offer things to us (room in the shed for the bikes, a blower to clear the deck after a storm, a note to close the windows due to a storm approaching). Because it is new, everything is very nice in the house, and it is well-appointed with high quality amenities (fans, dishware, stove, towels and bedding).

It looked like everything as new. It was very nice and clean. The location is in a nice shady spot that helps keep the house cool along with fans on in 70/80 degree days since there is no air conditioning. The fire pit area is nice and wood was provided upon request. It was nice to have the grill and kitchen area so we weren’t eating out everyday all day. The location was about 45 minutes from Munising. Plus it was within 10-15 minutes of restaurants, Sugarloaf, Black Rocks, Meijer, Target etc. Biking from the place to the bike paved path was convenient too. Thomas and Colleen were great communicators. Would highly recommend this place.

Our stay was wonderful all around. The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need for their home. I have never stayed in a rental property that looked even better in person than the online pictures. Communication with the hosts was wonderful and very timely. We were celebrating my Mom’s 80th birthday and they had a birthday card and gift waiting for her when we checked in. I would highly recommend this property and we hope to visit again in the future.
