Located just 3 miles from I94/State Hwy 121/Northfield, The Fox Den Guesthouse is a perfect option to spend some time enjoying the Wisconsin countryside. This is a one level home that is ADA compliant. Open concept with two private bedrooms, each with a luxurious queen bed, plus a full-size couch. Situated on the UTV trail with easy access to numerous routes and ample truck and trailer parking! Also near many options for public hunting and fishing. In the nearby towns you can go antique shopping, to the casino for some gambling, visit the area wineries and breweries, check out Lake Wazee or Hatfield areas for boating and all water activities and more! The home is ADA compliant, no steps! Sit on the front porch and enjoy watching the cattle graze.
Note: There is one other home on this property, where the host lives. There is a 5-car garage, a 2-car garage and green space separating the two homes. Also, this is an operating farm so equipment may pass by the house occasionally. Your privacy is our highest priority.

Loved staying here. The whole site was clean. Inside and out. Very comfortable and homey. Jackie's communication was thorough. There are a lot of little extras in the unit that made the stay extra nice. The beds were so comfortable. The unit is quiet and safe feeling. We cooked a meal and had everything needed to do so. We enjoyed the relaxing on the back patio and watching deer, horses, birds and rabbits do their thing. Thank you for a great stay!

The Fox Den was one of our favorite places to stay. The house was equipped w everything we needed & decorated in a warm coutry theme. Especially liked the 2 recliners where we could put our feet up after a long day. The working farm was interesting being planting season. We had horses outside our windows & cattle across the road. Beautiful patio & front porch to watch sunsets & birds. Had a hummingbird feeder outside dinning room window - very fun to watch. Wisconsin is green and this area was beautiful! Loved the backroads - thank goodness for GPS on vechile as sometimes phone service was not available.

We are empty nesters who have a small farming operation. We built this house for extended family, but thought was a great opportunity to offer it to travelers!! Note: this is a small operating farm so equipment may occasionally pass by the house. We strive to provide a private, quiet, peaceful experience.

We have lived here our whole lives, in Jackson County, WI.

What makes this property unique

Located close to the small town of Northfield which is Exit 98 off I94 and State Hwy 121. Just 3 miles from I94 to our property! Northfield and the surrounding towns are small farming communities but we are within 1/2 hour of shopping, casino, antique stores, wedding venues, wineries, breweries and more. We are situated on an UTV route with most roads in Jackson County being UTV legal!! So easy to plan a route to our local small towns and enjoy the scenery. Ask your host! We would love to share our favorite weekend routes and stops! The property is also located within a 10 minute drive to DNR public hunting and fishing!
