This was the perfect spot for our family of 3 for our 11 days in Maui. We had everything we could want for a comfortable stay, from a balcony with an excellent view to two family-friendly pools to the ABC store and a famous cinnamon roll spot a short walk away. The location is wonderful, right at the top of all of the Kaanapali beach resorts. We had easy access to all of the action, but we didn't feel like we were right in the middle of it. Thank you, Cheryl, for hosting us!

Great space on the top floor! Very clean and comfortable. Beds were good. The condo is as described with rattan furniture and pullout slightly dated but that is why it’s more affordable. Was perfect for us with an amazing view and AC in this unit was great! The grounds are beautiful and the grounds crew work all day to maintain it. The sea wall is a great place to watch the sunset. Walk 3 minutes next door to enjoy the beach. A lot of beach gear was there to use which was an unexpected bonus! Go to Papi Ohani for the most amazing cinnamon roll, Java jazz for great drinks and good, penny’s has great breakfast sandwiches and lattes, and food trucks area great option for dinner on a slow night.Thanks for a great stay!

The condo was beautiful and clean. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony. I was mislead that you could walk down to the beach from the property edge. It’s a retaining wall where the ocean meets the wall. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk south of the property. Still a beautiful place to stay-enjoy every minute of our stay.

Convenience was great. Close to cinnamon rolls place. Great pool and hot tub. Saw lots of turtles and whales in the ocean. Overall, a great time!

Cheryl’s place was awesome! Close proximity to shops and sandy beaches. Condo was clean and the property management team onsite was attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend this place for a family of 4.

Our one-night’s stay at this condo unit was very disappointing. The two major complaints were (1) There was dead bugs in the baby travel crib. My son & daughter-in-law absolutely did not want their 9-month old baby to sleep in that. So it made for a very difficult night with sleeping arrangements for them as the baby had to sleep in the bed with them. (2) Sofa bed was NOT made up although I had specifically asked IN ADVANCE (twice) for it to be made up & was assured by the host that it would be. Although the private housekeeper showed up at approximately 9:30p.m. to assemble the sofa bed, the linens were stored in the bedroom where the baby was sleeping. I did not want the baby to be disturbed as it had been so difficult to get her to sleep due to the poor sleeping arrangements.Front desk was contacted in both instances but advised they could do nothing for us.

Perfect Property

Everything you may need is here and they really keep up with the property. Constant maintenance and clean up to ensure beautiful property whether looking out the windows, on the balcony, or walking around. Would stay again.

Everything you need with a beautiful view

We had a great time staying at Papakea. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We felt right at home. The view from the lanai was stunning. Beautiful grounds with lots to do.

Perfect upper corner unit. Plenty of beach chairs and an umbrella. Great location to local shops and food trucks. Very family friendly for teens. Host was great with communication. Home well kept. We look forward to a return trip.
