This Adirondack style riverfront home has 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths and an indoor hot tub for two in the master bath . Outside your door are magical views of the river and mountains. You can relax, fish, hike, bike, swim, tube, kayak, ski, snow shoe, and more! We are located on a quiet dead end road where you can walk or bike for miles along the river. There are also two nearby lakes with beaches and boat rentals. We are close to ski resorts and shops too!

We had a wonderful stay at this home for girls weekend.

This property is very clean and comfortable. It’s in a very peaceful area right on the Sacandaga River. It has everything you need for your stay. We look forward to returning for our girls weekend next year. We highly recommend this property!

Peaceful escape

Don't hesitate to book this beautiful cottage. All the amenities you'd expect along with beautiful views. Perfect fall getaway. Relaxing evenings after dinner out at a local pub. Everyone we encountered were over-the-top nice people!

Cozy Adirondack Winter Getaway Dream!

We had a wonderful winter weekend at this sweet home. 4 long time friends looking for an Adirondack winter weekend and this house was perfectly placed close to Lapland Lake, Northville and a great winter hiking spot. The home was perfectly clean, beds were all SOOOO comfortable (a must!) and the house was stocked full of all our needs. There is a gas stove in the kitchen to heat up the living room area fabulously - and creates the perfect ambiance too. We had about 5 inches of snow the weekend we were there and we heard from our host about snow removal, salt and sand. Great spot. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Peaceful haven in the Adirondacks!

We so enjoyed our 6-day vacation in this peaceful home on the Sacandaga River after our October wedding! The welcoming decor, gas woodstove, and modern amenities in this cabin, combined with the relaxing riverside location, stunning night skies, and an immature bald eagle in the river across from the cabin, made for an unforgettable week in the Adirondacks. (And be sure to check out the Johnson Family Farm Store just down the road in Northville! Yummy homemade food and other good stuff!) Thanks for a wonderful week! 🍂🍃🍁

Such a fantastic place

This is an excellent place to stay, relax and recharge. A total home run. The cabin is easy to enjoy. It has an excellent kitchen, a very comfortable living room and three nice bedrooms. The decor is very cozy and warm, the propane stove heats up the interior almost immediately, and the view is beautiful. The deck is lined with Adirondack chairs and you could spend hours simply looking at the river (I did). The cabin is only minutes from the charming Village of Northville and Lake Sacandaga. One item of note is that the communication from the owner was also excellent. I will definitely be back.

Our stay at this delightful home was perfect for our Christmas holiday in Northville. Before we reserved the home, and throughout the entire stay, Ben was very prompt to answer questions, and made himself available for assistance. Ben decorated the home beautifully for Christmas with lights, a tree, and decor. He went above and beyond to create an atmosphere of cheer and comfort. Ben’s home was clean, and fully appointed for cooking a large meal, or hosting friends and family. The beds have excellent mattresses and pillows. The WiFi actually works in this remote location, so we were never disconnected from calls or realtime news. The house is great for a couple or small family. Honestly, we do not have one thing to mention that could be improved upon. Oh, and the view is just spectacular. We have found our home away from home when traveling to Northville. Thank you for everything Ben, we will be back!

Cozy cabin, beautiful view

This was our sixth year at the Adirondack cabin. The cabin is exactly as pictured. We love how the front windows of the house face the river with no other houses in sight-it’s a fantastic view to wake up to each morning, especially after a snowfall. The layout of the bedrooms is great for our family of 3 (our daughter loves having the cute second floor all to herself) and would be equally great for a party of 6.

The property was beautiful. It was easily accessible and the driveway was well plowed. The appointments in the house were first class. The kitchen was well stocked. The gas fired decorative stove in the dining room provided warmth and atmosphere. All appliances worked well. The host communicated well and was very pleasant. First class!!

Charming cozy house on the river

My wife and I enjoyed a quiet peaceful few days in this lovely tastefully decorated and comfortable home. For us the location was perfect. We look out on the raging Great Sacandaga River. In the mornings we take an hour and a half walk on the dirt road along the river seeing waterfalls and rarely encountering cars or pedestrians. It was not our first stay in this house, and hopefully it won't be our last.

Hi and welcome to our Adirondack getaway! Let me introduce ourselves. Our names are Ben and Camille, and we live in the Capital District of NY. We love the outdoors, whether that is hiking, skiing, swimming or just soaking up the sun, we are at our happiest when we are out in nature.

Why they chose this property

The house is very private and sits on an acre of wooded forest. The river is just steps from the house . You can sit on our shady porch or our sunny front deck and relax and listen to the sounds of the river.
Step out the front door and you can hike, bike, swim, kayak, or snow shoe in the winter!
Our riverfront home is also located 3 miles from the Great Sacandaga Lake, where you can spend a day on the water. The quaint town of Northville is a 5 minute drive and has many restaurants and shops. We are conveniently located next to the Adirondack Park and the Northville-Placid trail for great hiking. This unique vacation home is also a great winter getaway. Just minutes away from Lapland Lake for XC-skiing and close to Gore, Royal and Oak Mountains for downhill skiing. The house is located between 2 lakes for ice-fishing and snowmobiling. The house is also a 45 minute drive from Lake George and Saratoga Springs and Racetrack.
