Our property is a lake front paradise with almost 1 acre for your pleasure on Lake Murray, near the dam on the Lexington side. We are as close to Columbia and Lexington as you can possibly be on Lake Murray. Our LOCATION is 15 minutes from downtown Columbia and 5 minutes from Lexington and any kind of shopping you may need. Most of the other locations on Lake Murray are 45 minutes to an hour or more to Columbia and other attractions.

We are on a peninsula with lake views from almost every window. The second story makes for an expansive view and feeling, especially from your private upstairs deck. The lake front outside area consists of a swimming area with floats, lifejackets, beach chairs and fire pit with wood provided. As well as 3 decks, 1 dock, a cement launch area to enter the water and launch the Kayaks. We have a large, beautiful yard with swings, hammock, cornhole, croquet, bocce ball, kayaks, grills, tables and chairs along with big screen TV for the sports lover. What more can you ask for!

We have a large deck with a HOT TUB, two grills (propane and charcoal) for cooking out, as well as kayaks, floats, life jackets, towels and beach chairs included.
You have a private entrance and stairs with a large private upper deck to the 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath suite with Open Kitchen Living Area. The entire upstairs is your private paradise with views of the lake.
The upstairs has 2 Bedrooms and 1 Bath. There are black out drapes for those who want to sleep in or take a nap during the day.
The large Open living room includes a full kitchen and game room area and a big screen TV, Firestick, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, WII with games, DVD player, movies, games, foosball table, pool table, ping pong table, Chess and checkerboard table.
The living room area has comfortable furniture with a leather reclining couch, chair and love seat. There is a breakfast nook with seats window overlooking lake. We also have a high top table with seats.

There is a King-sized bed with foam mattress cover and pad in the large master bedroom.

The 2nd. bedroom has a queen bed.
A queen-size blow-up mattress and a single-sized blow-up mattress are available which could easily fit in the master bedroom or the open living area.
Fresh clean linens are on the beds with extra sheets, blankets and pillows. Fresh clean towels in your private bathroom. As well as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and more. Iron and Ironing board in closet. Hair dryers in bathroom drawer.

Outside we have swings, tables and chairs to hang out and have a cold beer or a glass of wine and relax and enjoy the beauty. Our yard is beautiful with lush green grass and a large variety of flowers blooming in spring and summer.

We have a dock on our property for docking your boat or fishing or just hanging out.
There is a marina 2 blocks away to launch your boat.
We have plenty of parking in the front of the house for your boat trailer.
We have a fire pit for your enjoyment.
You can view the boats coming and going from the very popular marina right across the cove from us while you sit on the swings, the dock or tables and chairs. They can be interesting and entertaining at times.
We have a pest control service, so that it is virtually MOSQUITO FREE. Which makes a BIG difference in your enjoyment of property.

NOTE: WE LIVE DOWNSTAIRS And will probably be there during your stay. We offer hospitality that you will not get through a rental company. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have about the area.
The yard and downstairs deck space is shared with us. We are social people.
We are also happy to respect your privacy is that is your preference. We have a Big Screen TV outside by the lake under the garage building awning for watching any sports you may want.
Coffee maker with Coffee, creamer and sugar and will be set up for your enjoyment upstairs. We also provide green tea and oatmeal.

We will host boat outings for reasonable additional fees. My husband is a licensed Captain and we will take you out on a Sunset and or Purple Martin cruise as well as cruising around the dam or to any of the marinas and restaurants on the lake.

The Purple Martin Cruise is a once-in-a-lifetime viewing of purple martins at one of North America’s largest purple martin roosts. During summer evenings, hundreds of thousands of purple martins travel to the 12-acre Doolittle Island in Lake Murray to nest. This little island attracts hundreds of thousands of bird enthusiasts to witness this unparalleled event. We offer excursions to our guests for this cruise which include circling the island and then anchoring the boat swimming and floating in the water while the birds fly overhead and the sunsets. It is quite beautiful.

There are many good restaurants close by. Travinia's Italian Restaurant, O'Hara's Irish Pub, Keg Cowboy, Catch and many more. LJ's Par & Grill has good food and a driving range with live music most nights. Libby's is good for sandwiches and beer. Myobi's Junior Express Japanese is one of my favorites. Lizards Thicket is good for country cooking, breakfast, Lunch and dinner.
If you want any snacks or adult beverages. There is a Dollar General two blocks away and a Super Wal-Mart and all other stores are less than two miles. Lexington Discount Beverages have the best prices for adult beverages and it less that 2 miles away.

The use of the Kayaks are included at no fee.

The Lake Murray dam which is less than 1/2 mile from us is great for walking, running or biking. It has a beautiful view.
Popular attractions are: Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Congaree National Park, University of South Carolina, Fort Jackson, Saluda Shoals Park, Gibson Pond and more!.
