Other things to note
Street Noise: The apartment is in the heart of downtown Richmond which means the street can be noisy at times. There is a sound machine provided in the bedroom to help make our guests more comfortable and mask some of the noise.

Parking: There is free street parking in the area during the day for up to 2 hours at a time. After 6:00 PM, you can park on the street overnight. There are also several paid parking lots and garages nearby.

Neighborhood: Please note that the apartment's location in downtown Richmond and near a bus stop could cause some people to be uncomfortable. This apartment is on the second level and has a digital keypad for entry to make it safe for our guests.

We loved the location - walking distance to the national! We also loved having a small balcony to enjoy morning coffee and people watch a little. Cute Ethiopian cafe on the same block with the best golden milk lattes and banana bread!! Off street parking is across the street, super close.

we did not stay at the property. We were unaware that a long steep set of stairs was required to navigate up/down. My wife is aged, with knee problems, and she would not be able to safely use the stairs.She did not feel safe in this area of town.If asked, I would not recommend this property to any persons with ambulatory issues

Stayed downtown while attending an event at the convention center and the surrounding area. Good: Apt was very nice- clean and well set up, bed was good, plenty of dishes and coffee provided ++ Bad: The stairs up are really steep, so take that into account if you book. The areas is a little sketchy, but no one ever bothered us. Parking (provided lot) is a little bit of a walk away, but never had a problem and no one bothered the car. Overall still a great spot to stay if you have an event at the convention center- it is about the same distance to walk there as it is to where we parked.
