This is a 1200 sqare foot, newly refurbished spacious 3 bed, 2 bath condo (see video above)with a 2nd floor uninterrupted ocean view. You can sleep 8 people (this means 8 individuals, children or adults, regardless of age) comfortably in this extremely well equipped condo. Just bring yourselves - everything else is here! This is a very quiet, small, and well maintained condo complex ideally located on a peaceful strip of Coco Plum beach in Marathon, Florida Keys, just north of Marathon airport. *During hurricane season (Jun. 1st - Nov. 30th) booking cancellation due to weather will earn a full refund.* VACA-20-596

Coco Plum Beach Condo

The property was very clean and neat. The condo was well stocked with beach gear (including towels) and the kitchen was well equipped with the essentials. To me, the best part was sitting in the screened porch overlooking the pool and beach. Very relaxing - just what was needed. I highly recommend this property.

Awesome View

This was such a fun trip everything was there that you could ever need. Awesome views of the ocean. The beach out front is always taken care of and raked everyday. Pool was nice and warm.

Family Christmas

Pool and beach access are a great addition for the stay. Beds are comfortable and all supplies were included as listed. Staff was responsive and other guests/owners were welcoming.

Marathon Adventure

The place was a cozy, whimsical, quiet, friendly place to stay. We felt safe and we liked that the property manager lived on sight. He has a vested interest in keeping the grounds nice. The ocean view and the sandy beach was really nice. The location was handy to the main road and it was easy to get around. Lots to see and do. You can stay local or easily go south to Key Weat. Or North to Islamorada.

Nice peaceful stay

The property was quiet and comfortable. Just about the halfway point between Key Largo and Key West. Pool was never overcrowded. Could go relax without dozens of people being out there

Ocean views

We had terrible weather for a few days but even watching storms was worthwhile with that ocean view. Plenty of good restaurants - some required a bit of a drive - and lots of things to do. The unit is a little older and when the rains really came down (it’s rainy season), the patio would flood. Well worth it and we’ll be back!

Wonderful place for families-

The condo was exactly as shown in the picture, but actually was larger than expected. Top notch ground and pool facilities. Extremely clean and quiet. Host was awesome. Megan was able to aleiviate what could have been a terrible incovience and made the circumstances even better. Will without a doubt be booking anything that megan Host.

Beautiful!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. With three kids, we really appreciated the spacious condo and plenty of beds (including giving my teen his own room). The pool was excellent--big, sparkling clean, and warm. The ocean views from this unit were astounding. We knew what we were getting into in terms of the beach (it's not our first time to Marathon), so the seaweed didn't throw us. We appreciated how far we could go out in the ocean and still have it be shallow. The grounds were pretty and well-maintained, and my kids enjoyed the tennis court. Beyond the property, we enjoyed the aquarium, the Dolphin Research Center, Crane Point Nature Center, and local restaurants. There are so many open-air options in terms of attractions and dining. We hope to come back to the Royal Plums for our next Keys trip!

Marathon beach condo

Overall, stay was ok. We flew in during hurricane Rafael, so the beach as a complete disaster our first couple days. They did get it cleaned up after a few days though. Condo could really use some TLC in the bathrooms. The shower curtain is the equivalent of a trash bag (these were the words of the other couple with us), and the toilets both had notes about the constant running. It was annoying by to get back up in the middle of the night to jiggle the handle to get the toilet to stop running. Kitchen was very well stocked. There was another review that mentioned fishing equipment- please don’t arrive thinking this is there. There was nothing my husband could use (nothing was advertised as being there, only saw it in a review- just don’t want others to make the same assumption). Not a ton of great food in the area. Had to drive to get awesome food.

Beautiful & Relaxing Condo

We had a lovely stay at Coco Plum in Marathon. The condo is decorated so cute and fun, perfect for it's location. It was very clean and maintained very well. I don't know when the bathrooms were remodeled, but they were so clean it looked like it was recent, otherwise they do a fabulous job of cleaning and keeping things fresh!! The kitchen provided everything we could possibly need to cook, other than the food. HA! There were so many extra's included from fishing equipment, kayak & life jackets as well as tennis rackets and balls. We were even able to enjoy tennis a few mornings before it got too hot, but it was no problem since we had the wonderful pool to cool off in. The pool area is very nice, clean and quiet, most of the time we were the only ones at the pool. Coco Plum is located directly on the beach, so it made for a great location for evening walks along the beach. I can't think of a thing that we needed that wasn't provided with this condo! We booked this place at the last minute and the owners responded quickly, even when we asked to extend our stay! We couldn't have picked a better location, a better Condo or a better owner to work with. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we had a great, relaxing stay! We look forward to returning in the future.

The condo was very well kept, clean, spacious and the view was incredible. We had everything we needed in the room including beach towels and chairs. There is laundry on site and they do provide quarters if you need change. We can't wait to come back next year.

Great place

Thank you so much for letting us stay at the beach. We spent a lot of time walking the beach, hanging out by the pool and making new friends. It seemed like a lot of the people have been coming there for years. They also invited us back. This was our first trip to the Keys and we had a great time.

Awesome Family Vacation

We had a great family trip to Marathon. The condo was as we expected. Awesome view, very spacious and clean. The pool was enjoyable and relaxing. There were lots of awesome things to do. Some of our favorites was the Deep fried Key Lime pie at Burdines, Mini golf at Porky’s Bayside and the Dolphin research place. We booked a sunset cruise through Viator and spent the day in Key West. We also enjoyed Robbie’s on our way out of town in Islamorada.

Quiet and relaxing place to stay with everything you need!!!

This place is WONDERFUL!!! If a comfortable and relaxing place to stay is what you're looking for, this is it!!! Our family of 5 (dad, mom, kids aged 18, 14, and 13) visited for almost a full week. There was plenty of space to stretch out and everything we needed included. Waking up every morning with AMAZING views of the beautiful beach (and pool) was just what we were looking for! It is on the 3rd floor with only stair access, but carrying groceries up some steps was a small price to pay for everything else the apartment offers. Situated at the beginning of Marathon, there are all of the stores, restaurants, gas stations, and activities you could need located right there in the area. Whether you want to grab some ice cream, do a round of miniature golf, spend the day out fishing, or hit a jet ski adventure you can find something for everyone close by. The beach outside the apartment was great for fishing, looking for hermit crabs, and waiting. We found the best beach swimming, though, at the state park about 25 mins south (Sandspur Beach was gorgeous). And, with Key West about an hour away from the apartment, you can still day trip there and enjoy everything KW has to offer too! Personally, we've stayed at Key West 2 or 3 times now. This trip, we were looking for something a little different, but still close enough that we could enjoy a couple of our favorite spots at KW! And that is exactly what we got!! Would recommend for all!! We plan on returning again next year!!

Nice Stay

The condo was very clean and we enjoyed our stay! The condo supplied beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc… which was awesome! My kids loved the pool, we spent many hours there! We were a bit disappointed in the beach at the condo, since that was one of our main decisions in choosing this particular condo, and no washer & dryer in our condo. The beach had loads of seaweed and is not a beach you want to swim or snorkel at with kids. The washer & dryer is located by the office and requires quarters. We ended up having to drive to Sombrero beach and Bahia Honda State park beach and those beaches were very nice with great snorkeling as well!
