When we purchased this home in the Florida Keys, privacy and being close to nature were our top priorities. We found the perfect combination on Grassy Key, a small and peaceful island nestled between Islamorada and Marathon, famously known for Flipper and the Dolphin Research Center.

Back to Nature! The natural habitat is amazing along with the private and quiet home with awesome views! The dock was the first and last stop each day! Enjoyed seeing numerous turtles and fish up close. The home had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped. Loved the pool and the lush surroundings. Coming back next year!

Overall, the trip was great. We had two issues which led to a little disappointment. The first issue was the beach. The beach was covered in decaying grass which made access to the water difficult. With the wind nearly always blowing towards the house, the smell was a little off-putting. Obviously, this is nature and difficult to prevent, but others should be aware. The second issue was the dock. It was not made clear in the listing that docking a boat here was not advisable. We had rented a boat but were unable to dock here and had to leave it at the rental. Otherwise, the property is beautiful and as listed. Very quiet.
