Great Family Vacation Spot located on the Beach

This large two bedroom, two bath condo is located on the 4th floor in beautiful Mainsail Resort, one of Destin's best! Mainsail is the perfect family vacation spot. You can enjoy lazy days on the beach or enjoy our new fitness center. The kids will love our two large pools, hot tub, kiddie pool, and the game room. Mainsail is across the street from the Silver Sands Designer Outlet Mall, as well as close to golf, fine dining, and several other Destin attractions.

This newly remodeled unit has a large living area with two sofas, oversize chair with ottoman and large flat screen smart TV with DVD player, CD player and Stereo. There is also access to two private balconies that provide breathtaking views of the beach, gorgeous sunsets, and all of Destin. The master suite features a king size bed with a new tempurpedic mattress, flat screen TV, ensuite bathroom and opens to a private balcony with a partial view of the gulf.

The second bedroom features twin beds and a flat screen TV with easy access to the second bathroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The condo is beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen with new stainless appliances, granite countertops and has tile floors throughout. The dining area has seating for 4 as well as additional bar seating for 4. This property offers 24-hour security and is a gated community. Covered parking and Handicap parking are also available.

Outdoor grills and a picnic area with tables are available for your family cookouts.

This is a non-smoking unit and no pets are allowed.

Rental includes one automobile. Additional vehicles are $50 each.

Mainsail Resort spans 15 acres of lush, tropically landscaped grounds and offers exceptional amenities. The South Pool Pavilion features a sparkling pool, a bubbling hot tub, and a wading pool for little ones, all surrounded by a spacious sun deck adorned with palms. A short walkway leads to the private beach. The resort’s north side includes another pool with grilling stations, perfect for family cookouts. Additional amenities include a fitness center with showers, dressing areas, and sauna as well as an arcade game room for fun off the sand.

*Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the North Cottage community pool is typically heated November through March.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dave's condo. It is a great location to the beach and restaurants. We had a few hiccups during our stay but nothing that would cause me to give a bad review. Dave was easy to reach and quick to reply.

Relaxed enjoyed every minute. Close to the beach, shopping, tourist spots. Beautiful accommodations and you can see the beach every morning from the deck! We arrived at night and it was a little hard to find but a perfect location. Would love to go again!

Perfect Visit

My wife and I have been staying at Mainsail properties for 10+ years. We love the entire complex and this stay was no different. The condo was exactly as described. We didn't use the 2nd "kids" bedroom but the king size bed in the master was extremely comfortable. Everything was clean and the condo provided all the essentials needed for a relaxing beach vacation. The host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Awesome place, awesome location!

This place was perfect for our group with room to spare. The layout gave us plenty of space with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, kitchen, dining room, living room, closets, pantry and 2 balconies. The location is basically on the beach, you just need to walk through the courtyard and you can see a bit of the beach from 1 of the balconies. Location has a guard shack which helps in keeping out the riff-raff and is within walking distance to a grocery store, liquor store, Alvin’s, the outlets and some restaurants. Beach was awesome and chairs and an umbrella were a real bonus. We are looking forward to returning to this place!

Family Fun

The location and property were great. We had a few hiccups prior to checking in and at check-in. The description of the property says it includes beach service, however, the day before our arrival we were informed that beach service was no longer included. Beach service was an extra $50-$60 a day. The code that we were given to the property did not work when we arrived, so I had to contact the owner to receive a new code. Other than those two things, we had a great stay, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and overall, the property was perfect for what we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Spring break March 2025

The property was nice we were able to check in early. We selected this property because they had a lot of amenities BUT the game room and courts were all under renovation. To make things worse the beach was red flag so my kids were bored. We didn’t find out until the day of that we were going to have to pay an additional 50 a day for parking for our second vehicle. The sheets in the master bedroom seemed to have been slept in but they could have just been wrinkled and had hair from the dryer and they not nice sheets maybe dried with towels or something because they pilling and very scratchy. They do tell you shortly before arrival you get a roll of paper towels and a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom so if you need more it is in you. The place is nice and it was a short walk to the beach.

Another wonderful trip!

This was our second visit to Destin and we returned to the same location because it perfectly accommodates our family of 5. Very clean, family friendly environment, private beach access with chairs and umbrella provided, and in close proximity to popular restaurants and shopping areas. We hope to return next year to what now feels like our home away from home!

This property was very nice, on par with some of the other units we have rented at Mainsail. The condo was very affordable and had all of the amenities we needed - we enjoy cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. Having beach service available was a huge plus! This was definitely a condo we would rent again.

Excellent Stay at Mainsail

This was a great property for myself, husband and two college age kids. This was an end unit that offered an extra balcony that was very large. The ocean view from our balcony was great! Plenty of towels, and kitchen needs available. Owner had excellent communication. Will definitely be back!

Clean, very roomy and great location

Condo was a great size and very clean. We loved having 2 balconies one to see the beach and other to view tennis courts and surrounding area. Great communication and easy check in and out. We would definitely stay here again. Only frustration which has nothing to do with this condo but Mainsail resort in general is good luck getting up front beach chairs. We got up every morning before 8am when they put the chairs out and most if not all the good spots (up front able to watch your kids in ocean and not behind someone) are reserved or you sit in an u shape where other people are within arms length. Wish it was a first come first serve basis.
