Driftwood is a spectacularly-built home, located near Seaside, FL. The home is named for the unique and natural flooring throughout and is exceptionally well designed and thoughtful. Every detail and amenity, from the flooring made of reclaimed lumber to the highly stylized marble countertops, make this a top-notch destination. Driftwood creates a luxurious home filled with casual coastal elegance and true Southern charm. The cozy porch swing offers guests a heartfelt invitation to relax and enjoy a glass of lemonade. Once inside, you will notice the distinguished board and batten walls, as well as beautiful flooring made of dark, reclaimed lumber. You can also enjoy a relaxing bike ride to the neighboring Seaside and Seagrove Beach with the four bikes that come with this rental. The living area boasts a 60-inch flat-screen LCD television and comfortable seating. The gourmet kitchen is complete with BOSCH appliances, marble countertops, and a spacious island with bar seating. The formal dining room seats eight.

Past the first-floor powder room is a luxurious tropical oasis. The Brazilian hardwood deck has plenty of room to relax as well as a dining room table. The gas grill uses fuel from the property's gas line, so guests never have to worry about running out of propane. Palm trees, banana trees, lemon, lime, and Valencia orange trees add an additional layer of privacy to the deck area.

The second floor is home to most of the property's well-appointed bedrooms. The queen Jack and Jill bedrooms share a spa-inspired bathroom, complete with a rain head shower, marble vanities, and marble flooring. Both bedrooms are decorated in soothing grays and creams and are equipped with flat-screen televisions. The first master king suite is designed with a large walk-in closet, and natural wood furniture, creating a serene, relaxing, atmosphere. The bathroom is equipped with his and her sinks, a large, stand-alone shower with a rain head, a garden tub, and marble counters. The bathroom is also designed with a water closet, adding an additional note of luxury and privacy to the space. The laundry room boasts a great view of the water, as well as high capacity Samsung appliances and marble counters.

The third floor is home to the “family suite”. A king master bedroom boasts a small outdoor balcony with an amazing view of the gulf and a 42-inch flat-screen television. The suite shares a bathroom with a custom-designed bunk room, which sleeps eight. The lower bunks are both doubles, and the upper bunks are both doubles as well. The furniture was custom designed by a decorator, and are guaranteed to meet all safety codes. Each bunk has its own 22-inch flat-screen television, DVD player.

Close to the action on 30-A and a short walk to the beach, Driftwood provides guests with a peaceful and luxurious oasis designed with casual, coastal elegance in mind. The lovely community pool is directly across from the home and the beach access is a 2-3 minute walk from the front door.

The home also features 4 bicycles for your use. Tour Seagrove and the neighboring community of Seaside. You are able to bike to many of the best eateries and locations along 30A.

BEAUTIFUL House

The house was exactly as pictured and absolutely perfect. The beachy decor and high end finishes were just amazing. The outside patio in back was used every day and night!! We all LOVED our stay. Living inside Pottery Barn at the beach!

The stay on 30A was a great trip and this home was perfect for our family of five and grandparents. The home is perfectly appointed, has everything you could need and even a great selection of beach toys. The porches became the father spots for laughs, glasses of wine or a good book and cup of coffee in the am. Very close to the beach and pool.

We loved this beach house. It was beautiful, well equipped and roomy. We loved the sofa bed porch swing! We've stayed in about 6 houses in the area and this one is our favorite! It's close to the beach and Seaside. The bunk room was better than great too. We love that each bunk was roomy with full size bunks. The kitchen was well equipped for entertaining. We hope to stay here again

We very much enjoyed out time at this property. It was a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. The back patio was a great place to hang out. The only concern was the very top floor wasn't what we expected given the pictures on the website. There was no privacy for the people using the bed upstairs

Family gathering

Our stay at Driftwood was wonderful. The property is well cared for and well equipped. The was plenty of space for everyone. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The back patio landscaping/lighting made for a nice place to sit and relax. The neighborhood was quiet. FiveStar was very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and were settled in.

The Perfect Place!

Driftwood exceeded our expectations. The furnishings and decor were beautiful and comfortable. The house was well suited for our large group of 3 high school boys and 4 college girls. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook big meals-lots of dishes, cookware, serving trays, etc. We utilized every inch of the house both inside and out- from the outside patio and lounge area to the front porch swing. With a short walk to the beach, the shaved ice shop, Angelina’s (who does great take out), Cafe Thirty-A, Donuts by the Sea and Tom Thumb, the location was absolutely perfect. The third floor French doors could use some black out curtains, but I had read previous reviews and was prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future!

House was beautiful. Driftwood floors left black residue on everyone's feet but not sure if that was from cleaning or type of wood. 3rd floor bathroom is definitely too small for number of beds/people but otherwise floorpan was great and more than enough room for our party of 13. Nice that 4 bikes were included even though 2 had seats that were broken. Beach access was convenient but very crowded the week we were there. Overall, a great week was had by all!

Excellent choice for a large family!

This house is gorgeous. Very nice property in a great neighborhood, just a small walk from the beach. Within minutes of wonderful restaurants, ice cream shops, grocery store, and anything else you could hope for on your beach vacation. The property manager is very friendly. The community pool was nice on several evenings after being at the beach all day. Our family of 14 stayed here and there was plenty of room to sleep and plenty of open floor space downstairs to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We would definitely recommend this property!!

Great place for families

We had a wonderful 2 full weeks at this property despite a Tropical storm and lots of rain for several days. It was grandparents, our family of 6, and my 2 adult siblings so the layout worked well. It is a very easy walk down to the beach, even for our 4 year old. We did rent a gold cart to help lug items back and forth which helped as well. There are plenty of pool and beach toys available. The bikes were nice to use around the neighborhood. The sitting area out back is perfect and well shaded. The kitchen is well stocked with matching dishes, cooking utensils, pots, and a full set of bar ware. The additional ice maker was awesome!! Rooms were all very comfy and air conditioned well. I agree with other reviews in that the third floor bedroom is a loft with no door (privacy) or blinds, but we came prepared with blackout eye masks. It was a little snug sharing 1 small bathroom with 2 adults and 4 kids, but we made it work. The pool is right across the street. Wonderful working washer and dryer. The management company was easy to reach when we had an issue with the garbage disposal and someone came out that day and fixed it. I was a little nervous, as I did have communication issues with the company in the months leading up to our arrival as numerous messages went unanswered, but during the stay they were easy to contact. I would highly recommend this place and we hope to return in the future!!

Comfortable and Charming

This is a great house for one or two families. It's well-appointed and conveniently located to the beach, restaurants, shopping and surrounding communities via bike or golf cart. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and access to beach chairs/ toys and bikes. Our favorite spot to begin and end our day was the charming front porch. I would caution for some, that the description provided is unclear that you enter the King size bedroom/ family suite on the third floor at the top of the staircase and the room does not have a door. This could be an issue for some (noise and privacy). The king size bedroom is large, but likely intended as a playroom for the kids conveniently adjacent to the the bunk room. We had teenage children sleep there, which was fine. We would absolutely stay again when we return to the area!

The house is just perfect! It’s exactly as described and has everything you could need or want. The location is great and the layout couldn’t be any better! I was also really impressed with the rental company. We’ve rented a lot of houses on 30A and this is our favorite so far.
