Osprey Cottage is a recently remodeled guest cottage on Sunshine Road in Deer Isle. Osprey Cottage enjoys a large yard, tidal ocean frontage and new and updated amenities. Enjoy all the conveniences of home in this sweet, little seaside cottage.

Osprey Cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Enjoy clean and fresh living spaces with bright and modern touches all whilst staying in lovely Deer Isle, Maine. The home’s primary entrance is off the road side of the cottage. The stairs in to the house are minimal and once inside the space is one level and easy to maneuver.

There are two bedrooms within Osprey Cottage. The first with a double bed and the second with a trundle sleeper. The rooms are comfortably furnished, with new mattresses and their own ceiling fans. The full bathroom has a large capacity washer and dryer as well as a laundry prep area where you can put your clean linens out and quickly fold and sort through. The bathroom has great tile work within the walk in shower, also the space is well lit to make getting ready for the day energizing.

The bell of the ball is the general living space. Osprey Cottage has an open concept living area with soaring ceilings and a wall of water facing windows to welcome the views inside. The living room is furnished with a comfortable love seat, a small arm chair and a television for streaming your favorite shows and movies. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with dishwasher, electric range, refrigerator and service for four. There is also a dining area set for four and lovely views of the yard and ocean. Osprey Cottage has recently been upgraded to high speed fiber optic internet.

Osprey Cottage has a deck on the water side. Enjoy quiet evenings watching the cove from this sweet little vantage point. Osprey Cottage offers easy access to the water for its guests. The property also has access to tidal frontage on Pickerings Cove. Watch the tides come and go from the shoreline or deck of your vacation rental.

A Wonderful Week on the Water

This year was our third year staying on Deer Isle and the second year using the Island Agency. While initially we wanted to stay at a different property, we were extremely pleased with Grace's Getaway. The cottage was immaculate, a wonderful experience, and well stocked, and the owner was a delight.

Comfortable, Quiet, Well Outfitted Cottage

Grace's Getaway is a comfortable and quiet cottage, outfitted with everything you'll need. Ceiling fans and A/C if you need it. Good laundry. A quick stroll to the water, where there's a beautiful, serene view. If you're doing a workshop at Haystack, it's a quick drive there. Would definitely stay again.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be in writing (email is acceptable) and received by the Agent. Cancellations may only be made between the date that a reservation deposit is received and a date determined to be 45 days prior to the Guests’ scheduled arrival date. Cancellations within 45 days of arrival will not result in a refund in whole or part of rental funds received. If a cancellation is made prior to 45 days of arrival, the Agent shall make a good-faith effort to re-rent the property at the published rate for the reserved rental term. No refund of rents paid will be made until the cancelled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the cancelled period is re-rented, any rent and taxes paid will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. If the new rental amount is less than the published rate, any difference in rental rate will be deducted from the rental returned to the tenant. If the unit is not re-rented, all rental funds paid, processing fees and taxes shall be forfeited as damages.
This cancellation policy is strictly followed. Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for all vacations to cover many situations that may arise which might cause one to cancel vacation plans. Life happens and we don’t want you to lose your deposit. There are many independent insurance providers available to tenants. I understand that the insurance company holds this policy and that The Island Agency does not determine eligibility of claims.
