Awesome house, slept a lot of people comfortably, and came with amenities. The house was well equipped with snacks and drinks for us upon arrival.

The place was filthy. The lights did not work in the bedrooms. Had to use light on phone to choose clothes to wear for the day. TV's didn't work. Charcoal grill was unusable. So, i went and bought one. Left at house for the next people. On a positive note the host communicated well prior to checking in.

The communication was great, but the place needs more attention, for example : as you come in the house smells dusty and old Tv did not work, all bed frames are loose and wobbly, furniture out dated, they had a mantel above the beds un secured and felt down and shattered all the stuff ( owner was notified) but couldn’t get any one over to clean or fix it. Windows had no blinds The place is not bad but it could need some attention I will be requesting some sort of refund for our experience
Overall, the house was in a nice area and well maintained. Upon check in several issues occurred, which taken together created a bit of frustration.The vast majority of lightbulbs were not working. Almost all the bedrooms were dark. Some of the common area areas had working lights, but almost all the lights were out in the entire house. There were no towels or washcloths for us to use so I had to go to the store immediately and buy some for the house. The thermostat was locked and set to either the low 60s or off completely. The nights got down to low 60’s. There were no additional blankets in the house anywhere. The washing machine didn’t work. All of these issues are brought up to the host immediately and while she was very pleasant, communicative and expressed concern, none of the issues were gong to be resolved during our stay.Again, the place is nice and in a good neighborhood. I would definitely consider staying again, but the host really does need to take care of some of the details. Note to owner—This is the review I intend to post. I believe some kind of compensation is in order for the issues we had. Please let me know what you think is reasonable and I will recognize the offer (without the amount) in the review.
