Beautiful vintage house with charming decor. It was everything I was looking for. Close to everything, peaceful and beautiful grounds. Ellie the property cat was a pleasant companion who would join us in the parlor during our after dinner gatherings. Great value and I definitely would recommend it. I plan on staying there again next year.
I stayed with 3 friends for a steelhead fishing weekend. The house worked out fine and we enjoyed Rascal the cat. The living room could use a bit more furniture to make it more comfortable for having snacks and wine/beer. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

About the host
Hosted by Noelle Roget
Noelle Roget, the owner was born and raised in San Francisco Bay area and has been coming to the beautiful mountain town, the gateway to the Trinity Alps since the early 70's where her sister and family have been residing for over 40 years. After extensive travels working on private yachts in the East Coast, the Mediterranean and The Caribbean she settled down in Weaverville and opened 'Noelle's Garden Cafe.'
During the 11 years of operating the Cafe she continued to travel in the winters to tropical destinations. After many years of driving by the Whitmore House (which seemed very neglected and calling out to her) on her way to the Cafe, she managed to purchase the building. The renovation, (a labor of love) took 3 years while working full time at the Cafe and working late nights and weekends to restore the house.
Why they chose this property
This is a one of a kind property in Weaverville offered as a hotel accommodation and is on the National Historic registry.
Noelle saw a dream and a need for the community to have a place available for events such as family reunions, weddings, fund raisers and for the traveler passing through to have a place to come and enjoy with the comforts of home.
What makes this property unique
