This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath mountain lodge features oversized windows, hardwood floors, stone countertops, high end appliances, custom cabinetry and four flat screen TVs. Additionally, you’ll find plenty of gathering space to enjoy the fireplace or a dinner in with friends, followed by smores around the outdoor firepit while taking in the fresh mountain air. Such attention to detail makes this home a sure hit any time of the year.

The main floor Master Bedroom includes a King bed, walk-in closet, flat screen tv and ensuite bathroom with soaking tub, Upstairs boasts two additional bedrooms at either end of a long hallway. One bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower. The third bedroom offers plenty of sleeping space with a queen bed and two full bunk beds with ensuite bathroom. On Tahoe Time comfortably sleeps 8 guests.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We would stay here again!We had a few minor issues: The kitchen is not very well stocked and could use a few more things. The blinds are controlled by a remote but the remote was not working so some of the blinds were half down and in the bedrooms, the blinds were open with no curtains.The wifi was terrible. We reset the router multiple times but nothing improved. We notified the vacation managers of all issues. It was a little difficult to get ahold of them but once we had dialog their response times were prompt.The home is beautiful and comfortable. I loved the location.

The house and estate is beautifully maintained and we love the club amenities with the pickle ball, tennis and pools. The main issue with the house is the smoke detector kept ringing all night and all day long. Despite calling the Schaffer Mills Management after office hours is basically non existent as they are not on site and will not respond to you till office hours. Even after they changed the batteries for all the smoke detectors, it started to sound again both the Master and upstairs bedroom when you start to cook in the kitchen. We turned on the stove vent, opened all the doors and windows but it did stop ringing. Towards the end, we slept very late because we were too tired with the smoke detectors beeping away. Wished we could reset the smoke detectors ourselves but the house ceiling is 12 feet tall with no ladders.

We are very sorry for the disruption caused by the smoke detectors, especially the impact it had on your sleep. We did replace the batteries in the detectors during your stay, but based on your experience, we agree that the system needs to be further inspected to determine why the detectors continued to activate when cooking. We would also like to clarify our level of service. Our management office is staffed and on-site **7 days a week, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM**, and we also have an after-hours emergency line for urgent emergencies. We are a vacation rental management company rather than a resort or hotel with 24-hour on-site staff, so non-emergency maintenance issues that occur after hours are addressed during our regular business hours. We understand how frustrating it was to deal with the smoke detectors overnight, and we apologize that this affected your sleep. We will have the detectors thoroughly inspected to determine the cause and make sure the issue is properly resolved. Thank you again for your feedback and for staying with us.
