New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

This is a third-floor, nicely decorated, one-bedroom suite located in building L overlooking the courtyard with pool and ocean views. The bedding is a queen in the primary suite with a private bath, a double in the convertible den area, a sleeper sofa in the living area, and a full bath in the hallway, along with the fully equipped galley kitchen. This suite is unique in that it has a private washer and dryer inside the unit! Other amenities in the condo are a dishwasher, two TVs, a DVD player, and free WiFi. The oceanfront complex offers extensive amenities including an outdoor pool with a waterslide, an indoor pool, a hot tub, an elevator, tennis and basketball courts, shared grills, and laundry facilities on-site.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. Place was in need of a deep cleaning though. Didn’t see any bugs which was good. Furniture wasn’t ideal due to the material. Not easily wiped down, recliners and such. Mattresses were old and uncomfortable. Amenities are always great at “A Place at the Beach” which is why we keep coming. This unit wasn’t bad, we’ve just stayed in nicer before.

Good for the price

The resort itself was great and so was the beach! This unit doesn’t have any lock to the balcony which was a concern because we had our toddler with us. The room itself could use some TLC but for the price it was okay!

First Time With Vacasa

We live the fact that the staff is open to diversity. Also, how welcoming are. The downside was the cleanness of the place. I suffer from allergies and the floors were very dusty. It seems that they never sweep under the beds and the bathroom of the hallway do not flush. Despite these things, the amenities were all functioning and very clean. We are looking forward to return

It was nice. I have been staying here at APATB for 11 summers now. First time in unit 312. The pool slide was closed Mon. evening and was still closed when I left Fri. That did not go over well with g-kids. Also there was right much pet hair on balcony and under furniture. But I will be back

The apartment is beautiful and accommodates us very well. We cooked and have no problems with anything. The amenities were all functioning and very clean. However, the cleanness inside the unit is not the best. There's a lot of dust and dog hair everywhere. I suffered of allergies and that was very unpleasant for us. Since you expect to arrive to a clean unit. I think that this is the only thing that they must improve. Because the staff is amazing, diligent, and friendly.

Disappointed

There were cockroaches spotted in the place. Dog hair everywhere. Hair in the bed. Trash on the night stand. Soap scum built up in shower. Upon talking to vacasa staff there seemed to be a disconnect between local and global offices. Wasn’t asking for a perfect place but feel like housekeeping didn’t clean the room before arrival.

This unit is not at all what is pictured on line! It was filthy and furniture not well kept. The balcony furniture was falling apart and balcony floor was also filthy! I had to call the agency to come back and clean. The floors were disgusting, dirty utensil drawer, dirty Tupperware in cabinets, toaster oven also nasty! Bed linens needed to be changed and under the bed looked as thou it had never been cleaned! Shower head had to be changed bc of the caked mildew that was on it. I was so disappointed on how my vacation started! The cleaning lady that was sent back was obviously annoyed and had an attitude while she was there!

Cockroaches, boogers, hair, and a sliding glass door that doesn’t lock.

We have booked through VRBO before but Vacasa the third party was terrible!!! We were never told that there were two different check in locations. Cockroaches everywhere, boogers on the walls, microwave hanging over the sink - fire/electrical hazard, the toilet paper holder is coming out of the wall. Made dinner no hot pad to pull out the chicken or measuring cups, refrigerator leaked black stuff, the dishwasher leaked water when running, the sliding glass door for the balcony on the third floor didn’t have a lock that isn’t good for safety with a curious toddler, hairs all over the sheets, we had to wash the sheets first before sleeping on them bc the Vacasa office was closed and they had flatten yellow stained pillows, also a water main break happened and we didn’t have water (this was out of their control though). The grounds were impeccable, the pool and beach was amazing. We told Vacasa and they didn’t seem to really care other than saying sorry. The actual office for the complex sent out someone to spray for the cockroaches. But they sprayed I feel like a little too close to our daughter’s pack n play. We spent good money only to feel on edge the whole time and not feeling like we could truly relax. I would honestly never reconsider Vacasa to anyone. This place looks like it was never cleaned. We honestly feel like someone should reimburse some of our money. Definitely not the trip that we were looking forward to for the past ) months. 😔

Good value, great view, only issues were with the complex, not condo

It was very clean for what you would expect at the beach (no vacuum, only broom so never could get all of the sand up). I loved the grain and color of the floors. The bathrooms were good, one outlet in the master did not work but I didn't need it, I just noticed that it did not when I plugged my trimmers into it. The kitchen was small which made it hard to cook in(microwave had to be moved) with very very dated appliances, but they did the job. This is pretty common for the complex, so I'm not complaining too much, I just had a really hard time prepping and cooking in it. Mom's in 317 was even smaller. The bedrooms were great, nice big beds. The view is the big selling point here, it's pretty much primo where you want to be. 3rd floor so you get quiet and privacy, great view of the common area, pool, and the ocean. The big issue that seemed to be common in my unit as well as others is the Guest wifi at APB. It was abysmal. It would drop in and out at random, and you had to reconnect every time you left the unit even if the connection was set to auto-connect. Fortunately I have my streaming apps to only work on Wifi, but my mom was not so lucky, She burned through all of her data last week. The televisions in the unit would not connect to the guest wifi, however the owners had left their own Wifi logged in so I confess I used it to log into my own Disney and Max accounts (logged out when I left). I hope the owners don't mind, but doing so got them an extra star as the excessive heat kept us inside at times during the worst parts of the day and not being limited to the guest Wifi would have been a problem. Overall, great place, great value, only thing that would make it better is if it were mine, lol. Cheers to the owners. -Matt
