About the Vacation Rental Unit:
Step inside Seaside Haven, a thoughtfully updated studio offering everything you need for a simple, stress-free beach getaway. The open layout includes a comfortable queen bed, cozy sitting area, and a well-equipped kitchenette stocked with cooking basics, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and full-size refrigerator.
Enjoy modern tile flooring, coastal décor, and convenient in-unit amenities like a washer and dryer—perfect for extended stays. The bathroom includes a full shower/tub combination and fresh linens for each guest.
This studio/1-bathroom vacation rental features:
Sleeping Arrangements: Queen bed
Full bathroom with shower (no tub)
Maximum Guest Occupancy: 2 Guests (Please note that children under the age of two years still count toward the maximum guest occupancy.)
The closest community pool is conveniently located just across from the unit, next to the tennis courts, making it easy to enjoy a quick dip or relax between beach outings. Whether you’re planning a quick beach escape or a longer stay, Seaside Haven provides a private, walkable, and well-located home base just minutes from the sand, dining, and entertainment.
Parking:
Guests must go directly to the front gate upon arrival. Please note: the security gates will not provide entry.
Each Gulf Highlands studio includes one assigned numbered parking space in front of the unit.
Parking passes are handed out at the security gate and are currently free. Guests can speak to the attendant when they arrive, show proof of the booking and they will give them a mirror hanger pass with the dates on it. If they arrive after hours or the security gate is not occupied, they can request one from the security guard the next day. Parking passes need to be displayed at all times. There is limited overflow parking, which can be purchased from the front gate security attendants for $10 per night.
No parking on the grass or double parking on the street. If you have an additional vehicle, there are three paid public parking lots to choose from: 1) Richard Jackson Boulevard at Ocean Towers Condominiums; 2) Churchwell Drive at Front Beach Road, or 3) Thomas Drive at Ripley’s.
All street-legal golf carts are prohibited on resort property. However, just outside the pedestrian gate on Front Beach Road, there is a rental place and if you rented a cart from them for consecutive days, you could park it at their location, which is an easy walk into the complex and back to the unit.
Trailer Parking: The only parking lot that will allow trailers is the Thomas Drive parking lot located at 9941 Thomas Drive (behind the Ripley’s Believe it or not). Trailers can be parked at this location. Please note: there is no onsite security. You'll need to download the passportparking app to pay the parking fees (based on the license plate of the trailer).
Gulf Highlands — Gate Access Changes (Effective October 1)
Summary: Pedestrian gate codes are going away. Entry will require a proxy card. The vehicle gate will keep a code temporarily during the transition. Replacement proxy cards cost $25. These changes improve security and simplify access.
The Association for Gulf Highlands Beach Resort is updating the gate access system. Starting October 1, the following changes take effect:
Pedestrian Gates
• Access codes disabled.
• Entry requires a proxy card.
Entry Without a Proxy Card
• Present reservation dates and a matching photo ID directly to Property Patrol.
Main Guest Vehicle Gate
• Access code remains temporarily during the transition. The vehicle gate code will then be discontinued. Guests must check in at the guard station on arrival to obtain a parking pass. After that, use the proxy cards to enter and exit through the guest vehicle gate as needed.
• Guest vehicles with a GHBR sticker or valid Resort Access Pass must use a proxy card once the code is removed.
Proxy Cards: Key Info
• Extra cards are available through the HOA office for renters/guests.
• Each card has a unique tracking number; report any loss or damage to the HOA so it can be deactivated and replaced.
• Replacement cost: $25 per card, which will be charged to the guest responsible for misplacing a proxy card.
About the Community/Property:
Gulf Highlands Beach Resort is a serene, gated community ideal for families, offering a wealth of amenities including 11 pools (five seasonally heated and one beachfront), a full-service beachfront restaurant, tennis, pickleball and shuffleboard courts, mini golf, playgrounds, and a fitness room.
Beyond the resort, a walking path leads to the Shoppes at Edgewater, featuring dining and entertainment options like FireFly, Dee’s Hangout, American Charlie’s, Pink Pelican Ice Cream Bar, Rock’It Lanes (bowling, axe throwing, and escape rooms). You’re also just a mile from Shipwreck Island Water Park and less than a mile from Just Jump Trampoline Park, WonderWorks, Coconut Creek Family Fun Park, and Ripley’s. Popular nearby restaurants include Bayou on the Beach and Saltwater Grill, with Pier Park—home to shopping, dining, and entertainment—only five miles away.
For outdoor adventures, visit Bike The Beach, located next to the Gulf Highlands office, to rent or purchase bikes, e-bikes, golf carts, e-scooters, slingshots, and tennis or pickleball equipment.
Private Beach Access: From W Leslie, turn right on White Sandy and left on Gulf Highland to reach the private beach entrance.
Other details to note:
Trash must be placed in a garbage bag that is tied up and placed inside the silver trash bins throughout the property. No loose trash allowed.
Pedestrian gate codes at Gulf Highlands Beach Resort are no longer in use as of October 1st, 2025. Instead, entry will be by proxy card only.
Two proxy cards are provided in the unit (hanging on the wall near the light switch). These cards are required to access pedestrian gates for the beach, pools, and other resort amenities.
If a guest or renter cannot enter (for example, if a proxy card is lost), call Property Patrol for remote buzz-in or on-site assistance. Be prepared to present reservation dates and a matching photo ID directly to Property Patrol to gain entry.
Because the number of cards issued to each unit is limited, please handle them carefully and leave them hanging on the wall near the light switch prior to departure. A $25 charge applies for any proxy card that is lost or not returned: this replacement fee will be billed to the responsible guest.
Upon booking, you’ll receive timely communications about your trip. Access to your professionally cleaned and sanitized home is also convenient with our custom keyless locks. And, if you need anything before, during or after your stay, our local team is ready to help!
Please be aware that there will be NO refunds for Wi-Fi issues as it’s not guaranteed. If reliable Wi-Fi is a must, you are welcome to bring your own internet hotspot.
