This place was immaculate! It was so clean and had everything we could possibly need and more. The decor was beautiful and it definitely felt like a home away from home. I loved the back patio with a lovely view of the lake and the canoes were fun to use. Michael and Debby went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We definitely plan on making a trip back to this “Sweet Retreat”!

We were in town for our son's wedding. The house was perfect for our needs. Very clean and new. The beds were very comfortable, and the house is tucked back in a little private cove. It was very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this property.

Sweet Retreat was the perfect spot for some family down time after we picked up our oldest from a nearby overnight camp and dropped off our middle kiddo. We took advantage of the many game options there were to play, the peaceful view in the mornings and feeding the deer in the evenings. The lake was still not swimmable from the floods but we walked to the nearby park where we could, and it was very charming. We had everything we needed in the house to prepare meals and the hosts even left cookies for my gluten free husband and dog treats for the pup. The products available in the house were of high quality and it was very comfortable. We would be happy to stay here any time we are in the area!
