We cooked all of our meals and the house had everything we needed. The house is brand new and well designed. The house is a 10 minute drive to downtown French Lick. Our hosts were awesome. Well deserved of a 5 STAR rating.

Cabin was perfect for our group of 8. Cabin was clean, plenty of space, and was equipped with all of the essentials. Nice game room for the kids. The best part is the property itself. Sits on a lot of land with its own hiking trails. Very beautiful and peaceful. Close enough to town if you’re looking for other activities to do. One recommendation is the lower level was quite chilly so bring blankets for when you’re hanging out at night. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Loved this home. We planned a weekend ski trip to Paoli with my siblings and this space was perfect for all of us. So roomy! All the bathrooms were top notch and the heated toilet seat was such an added perk would definitely stay here again!! Kids and adults loved the game room.

House was cute, worked great for a nice stay. Would say the wire stair railings and deck railings were very sketchy with having little kids with us. They could easily be separated and a child fall through. House was clean but floors may have been dirty, all feet and socks were black after walking on them. Game room was cool, race game never worked but that’s ok. Had an issue with stink bugs there were at least 5 or more in the house at all times. My son is a bit traumatized after he had one crawl on him 2 nights in a row. House was very cute and every other aspect was great. If I had any recommendations for owners or future travelers it would be to bring travel baby proof items if you have kids or owners to have some to offer to renters. I brought our own door lock for the basement as my kids could open the doors but I wished I had a gate for the stairs as my kids loved to climbed the stairs but I was terrified they would fall off them because of the wire railing bars that were night tight.

We really enjoyed our family weekend in French Lick. Allison did a great job of ensuring check-in was easy as well as giving us some recommendations for teen-friendly local activites. The cabin was clean, nicely decorated, and stocked with the essentials as well as some fun high-tech features. The kitchen had everything we needed for the few meals we ate at the cabin. The game room was a hit with the whole family. The location is far enough from town to be peaceful but only about 15 minutes from restaurants and groceries. We really enjoyed quiet morning coffee on the deck and the short hike to the beautiful rock feature along the property trails.

Why they chose this property

French Lick is a quaint town with loads of attractions for all! I love that you can find an activity for any season. The best part of this property is that it is quietly tucked away and peaceful yet close enough for quick access to town and Patoka Lake. There are lots of inviting and delicious restaurants nearby but small kitchen allows some basic cooking if your looking to stay in. The hiking trails allow for peaceful walks and inviting scenery.

What makes this property unique

The towering pines and poplars around the house give a rare view. There's something for everyone, between the two living rooms for relaxing, upper deck for views, game room for fun, and fire pit for smores and laughs. There are 4 other vacation rentals on the 10 acres, so hosting big groups is possible. The back 20 acres is our classified forrest with great trails and a beautiful rock shelf with a spring fed stream.
