Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash dishes and put them in the dish rack
Used towels and washcloths go in the hampers provided

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No smoking of any kind in the house or near door entrances. A fine of 500.00 will be charged. And possible cancellation with no refund.
No overnight visitors. Booked guest must be present. Extra charge of 100.00 per night/guest for stay will be required if not on reservation.
Please limit showers to 3-5 minutes as this home has a well. We are currently going through a drought which could affect water supply/pressure.Thanks

The host was great. The house was wonderful. There were 3 bedrooms and we each had a bedroom to ourselves. The screened in porch was amazing . I had my coffee out in the screen porch each morning while I was able to watch TV. The kitchen was beautiful and had stainless steel appliances. Kitchen had everything we needed. The only down fall was the pool. We could not use the top step due to a crack so pool time was very limited. At night the grounds are well lit. Bathroom was well stocked. I did take pictures and showing my friends at work. Maybe you will have another booking from my way. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. A TV in every bedroom was wonderful as well.

This is a cute house but it is old as listed! My only 2 complaints would be the water pressure and pool. It does say it is on a well system but when you turn the shower on as soon as it gets hot there is very little pressure like it dribbles out of the shower head! We also specifically rented this property for the pool and it was a disappointment! We were excited because we were meeting half way to visit with family and wanted to hang out by the pool but the pool was only filled half way and was freezing like it was just filled before we arrived! The sides were caving in and it is an old pool. We understand it is under a lot of trees so we were not worried about the little bit of debris in the bottom but it only being half filled was the issue. Take the advice and message the host if you like it cooler then what the listing says because of it being an older house when you cook it gets hot but they will adjust thermostat for you! Overall very cute house with a lot of potential.

Thanks for your review. The pool was the standard 3 to 4 feet of water. The pool closing in just a couple of weeks so there was a need to fill it more. The description of our home states it’s an older home and advised about water pressure prior to booking. Our temperature is stated in the description as well 73 in the summer, but will adjust accordingly. What really surprised us the guest made a fire pit in the front yard on our grass which left charcoal ashes for us to clean up, and damaging our grass which was surprising since we have a fire pit in the backyard. The guest booked for two adults but we were never informed they had a toddler or visitors who stayed at the property. Other bedrooms were used which cost us more in cleaning fees.

My trip couldn’t have been better. This house is adorable. The way it’s decorated is spot on. The beds were comfortable. There is a huge TV in the dining room which you watch also from the family room. I mean they have a little story post about how this was their grandparents house and how they fixed it up and it’s so true like it reminds me of my grandparents house you know and they said there could be some little issues here and there, but I mean, unless you’re really picky they didn’t bother me anything. And the details to like little chocolates in the kitchen for you different coffees you can use. In the bathroom they had extra toothbrushes cutest little toothpaste I’ve ever seen. And it just like I feel like they thought of like all the little things. They even had I think it was Tylenol and cough medicine and I mean I have not stayed at a place. Does that thorough and thoughtful it was a little bit farther from colonial Beach than I had thought but it was OK. It was worth a drive. I used the pool every day. They have an outdoor like cabana area and they also have an enclosed screened in porch that has like a TV and a fake fireplace and I just feel like they’ve really thought of everything. I definitely hope to book with them again.

Charming cottage with updated decor. The host was very comucative during a power outage due to storms. The kitchen was nicly stocked with snacks and drinks. The pool was nice, but the backyard was not very usable due to some leftovers from repair work taking up the grassy area.

Thanks for sharing your review. We have three decks in the back which includes a screened in porch. Also a paved patio with table in chairs, no real grass area accept behind pool which is not used for entertaining.
