Beautiful home! Perfect for our family of nine. The bedrooms were nice and having 4 1/2 bathrooms was a bonus. It was very quite and secluded, but not a bad drive back to the highway. We would stay again.

We had a group ranging from ages 7 to 77 and multiple different families staying at the house. It was well suited for us all. We LOVED the access to the lake and being able to kayak whenever we wanted. We also enjoyed the fact it was very remote. The inside of the house was clean, a little dated, but we didnt mind. The outside was run down but more so the deck and the outside equipment but again we didnt mind so much. The location and view at the lake definitely made up for the couple of older chairs/deck. We would stay here again.

Location was perfect and beautiful. It was wonderful to be able to go kayaking and canoeing on the lake with the provided equipment. The house was spacious, furniture comfortable, and was decorated beautifully. Some items they said were stocked (like the iron and some kitchen items) we could never locate, but the games and books were wonderful! Overall, it was a wonderful stay and perfect for what we needed for our family get together. Thank you for opening your home to us.

We enjoyed our time in Missouri. The house, however, was very outdated. Which you can see some of that in the pictures. But it was so bad that we were afraid to use most of the things because we were afraid to break anything. Everything is just really old and run down. The furniture outside, the doors, the basement shower, lots of things. There is also no where to park without being under a tree. A very large tree branch fell on my car and busted it up pretty bad. We would probably not recommend this property. This was our first trip out of state and we had a great time. If we get to come back, we will stay elsewhere.

The Lake House was a good spot for our family gathering after Chrsitmas (We had 14 total). The home and some amenities seemed to be past their prime in places, but it was clean, with comfortable beds, and laid out well for hanging out inside and outdoors.

Absolutely great Host and the place was amazing. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed around the cabin alot, sitting by a fire and just enjoying the lake. Grand kids and grown kids enjoyed paddling around the lake in a canoe and kayaks. We will be back given the opportunity.

It is a beautiful place inside and out. Peaceful, private and quiet. Was disappointed with the movies and lack of children's books. Older adult movies, mostly religious and no children's movies at all. Had to use DVD player in master and the volume is low and hard to hear. I have tinnitus and just needed the noise to sleep. Ended up useing an app on my phone instead. With Tvs being pretty cheap nowadays they could invest in newer Roku type and add them in a few of the rooms. Skillets could be upgraded also. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again and would just bring laptop or tablets and childrens books for the little ones before bedtime The river was warm like bathwater. The stairs down to the water were a little sketchy but had a handrail. I am not complaining a bit just being honest so others considering staying there can be prepared. It was pretty well stocked and clean. Communication with host was wonderful as well. We made some great memories and hope to go back sometime.

We took your advice and now have a new tv with Roku placed in the Master Suite as well as a tv in the Lakeside Bedroom, in addition to those listed on our site. We took an inventory of children's books and dvd's on the shelves and found quite a few, Not sure why they didn't turn up for you.

We chose this location to be the destination for our small group summer trip. It was wonderful. The spacious house, large shaded property (helped with the summer heat), easy water access. We throughly enjoyed our stay here. We'd love to come back again.

Fun family getaway

The location is great! We loved the kayaks and the canoe and the ability to fish! Plenty of room for everyone. The beds were soft and comfy. The place is not very clean. The area of the charcoal grill needs to be cleaned and made more attractive and inviting.

My family had a wonderful time at your cabin. The only disappointment that we had was the water level was so high we didn't have the access to the lake that we were expecting. But everything else worked out great. Highly recommend this place for families.
