The house is small but the owners did a great job utilizing the space. The house was spotless and everything well marked and easy to use. Appliances were new. The owner was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
The owners of this property have truly created a gem of a place to stay in Southwick on South Pond! My sister and I enjoyed four nights here in early October, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The property is beautifully appointed and impressively organized, with detailed instructions for using all of the amenities. The beds were very comfortable, and the living space was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. We even used the Roku TV one evening to watch a movie and were impressed to see that it was set up to automatically delete our logins upon checkout. It’s clear that the owners have thought through every detail to ensure their guests have a comfortable, convenient, and relaxing experience. The mid-century modern décor was amazing—we absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend their decorator. If we need to stay in Southwick again, we will definitely hope to stay here, assuming it’s available. We highly recommend this wonderful property!
We had a fabulous stay at The Overlook! We just loved the house so much. We really appreciated the heated floor in the bathroom as well as the cool toilet. We also liked the fun coffee maker and all the coffee creamers. Also, the decor was incredible. We especially appreciated the most beautiful lamp in the world!
The host was kind and responsive. The home oozes with charm with mid-century vibes and modern luxury amenities like a heated bathroom floor. The view of the lake was lovely. The landscaping is still under progress, and the stepping stones can get slippery. Take caution when walking up to the home when raining or icy. We highly recommend this lovely home.

Thank you so much for your response! We enjoyed having you.
We are awaiting our contractor and favorable weather for improvements to the exterior and look forward to the outside being as nice as the inside!
Cute and cozy bungalow on the Congamond lake! Absolutely loved how the interior was decorated. The home is updated to include heated bathroom floors and a smart toilet which we found intriguing. The view of the lake from porch was magnificent. The view must be gorgeous in the warmer months. I gave 4 stars as the property was a little difficult to traverse in the snow/ice, however, the owner addressed and remedied that situation and we understand they have plans to modify the property in order to make accessing it more convenient. Other than that, awesome place to stay.
