Cedar Breaks Lodge sits in the heart of Brian Head Resort, Utah's highest-elevation ski town at 9,600 ft. Everything is walkable: ski lifts, restaurants, the General Store for groceries, and the resort plaza.
In winter: Brian Head is known for 360+ inches of annual snowfall, with skiing typically from mid-November through April. The Navajo chairlift (beginner) and other Brian Head lifts are a short walk from the building.
In summer: the area becomes a hiking, biking, and scenic-drive destination. Cedar Breaks National Monument is a 30-minute drive, Bryce Canyon is 1 hour, Zion National Park is 2 hours. Cool mountain temperatures make this a popular escape from Las Vegas and Phoenix summer heat.
